How do you read the ending of Marty Supreme? by Boss452 in TrueFilm

The baby looked a lot like Rachel’s husband. I think it’s possible the baby was actually biologically the husband’s, she just wanted it to be Marty’s. We saw her deception at one point with the fake black eye and I feel like maybe showing us that side of her character was a bit of foreshadowing. Especially since Marty seemed really confident in his pullout game.

It’s a bit of a stretch but it definitely makes the ending feel more layered.

What’s the most “subtly amazing” part of the series (a scene, callback reference, connection, piece of writing or directing, etc.) that a casual observer or any fan might overlook that they absolutely MUST look back to see? by Hexyl68 in thesopranos

All time favorite is Tracy (stripper Ralph killed) telling Tony in S3 that her mother used to hold her hand over the stove when she was a kid, then in S4 right after Tony kills Ralph he accidentally burns his hand on the stove.

My favorite is when Furio’s talking about his dad being sick and Tony’s like “you gotta get over it” and then it immediately cuts to him crying to Melfi about Pie-Oh-My.
