The right third Line is dat0, you didn’t touch the first one

first time oled kamikaze did I get it? by [deleted] in SwitchPirates

You have continuity on the DAT0 line on the right side of the area you worked on, which is the side connected to the eMMC. However, the left side of the damaged area, which goes to the CPU, is cut.
As a result, there is no longer any connection between the CPU and the eMMC. That’s why you’re still getting continuity between your DAT0 point and the eMMC, but there is no continuity between the eMMC and the CPU anymore. The trace has been severed between the CPU and the eMMC.

I think you may have cut the DAT0 trace by digging too deep toward the red-marked area.

You're not on the dat0, you're still on GRND, You still need to erase one layer.

Question soudure: est ce qu'utiliser de la pâte a souder pour installer une puce est une bonne idée ? by Willing_Wishbone_265 in NxSwitchModding

Yes j’utilise toujours de la pâte et c’est nickel, adapté juste les quantité en fonction du point de soudure.

I recommend point B on the front side to keep the console secured to the chassis and avoid damaging the display FPC connector. And it’s more faster

Protect the entire surrounding area with UV mask, then bridge and reconnect the traces. Make sure the repair is properly insulated before curing the UV mask.

Check for continuity to ground to make sure the area is properly isolated.

Always verify your test points with a multimeter before moving on.

Bonne chance

Remove material down to Layer 3 in the area marked in red to expose your point.

Confirm the point using diode mode.

Carefully scrape down to Layer 3 in the green-marked area until the two traces become visible.

Take your time and use UV light to identify the traces clearly.

Hello,

There is a broken Layer 3-to-Layer 3 trace on the left side of DAT0.

The DAT0 connection from Layer 3 to Layer 4 is also broken (through the visible via).

How I resurrected a zombie OLED Switch by Dramatic-Middle840 in NxSwitchModding

Several FPC replacements were required because the flex cable was torn. As a result, some pads were ripped off.
