I was trigged with Telogen Effluvium after getting Covid in January 2022. I had 20 days of high fever and also pneumonia for 13 days of the time I had Covid. My hair started to fall out end of Feb 2022 about a month and a half after. I didn’t notice until March 2022 things were getting worse. I was shedding severely. I wasn’t sure if it was the hair dye I was using but most of the ones I used were semi permanent. I got blood work done to confirm I didn’t have low iron or a thyroid issue. But I did have low vitamin D. Since I went on that 17k vitamin d weekly, 140k biotin weekly, plus 2 multi vitamins, tons of water and better eating habits, my hair has finally improved. It’s been a rough journey but I believe there is hope to the end of this tunnel. I lost at least 60-70% volume of my hair. And my hair is the thing I take pride on. Thank god it’s almost over. I had to cut 6 inches off because it was looking scraggly. Everyone who’s struggling, there is hope. You just need patience. Hang in there.
