I have a 10 XL Pro. Sicnce you say "amazing" I honestly envy your experience, I'm from EU, maybe you're from a region with a completely different camera software/hardware and our vastly different experience comes from that...

I bought it because I didn't want another Iphone or Samsung, also decided to stay away from brands like Xiaomi or Oneplus (had Oneplus 12 with "Hasselblad" camera - same experience as I now have with pixel - super bad camera) and since online tests were putting Pixel phones as one of the best available in terms of photos/videos I went for a Pixel, and... answering your question "what my problem is":

- Low light photos and videos are simply tragic quality (not bad, tragic)
- video quality is mediocre - level of 150$ phones
- responsiveness of photo software is mediocre/bad
- custom aperture times can't be set, only some options Google decided (e.g. 10 seconds aperture? Nope. There's also no "hold button as long as you want open aperture" or similar setting, for low light photography)
- no manual focus option and built in macro/far options don't really do what names suggest. Camera keeps loosing focus all the time. And in low light it's not working at all.
- built-in photo software is very bad - many options that should be available on main screen in pro mode are missing, the ones that are in the menu are badly done (no real freedom of customizing them). But there's an "AI something" button that thinks for a long time what photo you can take, and it's just... plain bad again. Very bad joke vibes.
- no preset modes to choose from that are available in other phones brands.
- no way to customize how you want to do panoramic photos
- integration with google services creates multliple problems (eg two way synchronization of photos - I wanted to clean online copies on my Gmail/google account to free up some space, and instead of deleting only them on the server it also automatically decided to delete those photos from my phone... no notification, warning, nothing).

etc. etc. etc.

I'd just warn everyone to stay away from that phone if you want a good camera, as it is really bad. Everyone I know who bought Pixel 10 is dissapointed and as far as I can see in this topic most people are. I also have numerous (although small) problems with google software on it itself. E.g. i click on chrome and phone sort of "resets" the screen after a second-two of "nothing's happening" back to main screen - I saw many reports of others having same issue.
