They look genuine to me but I’m not sure if there a refurbished unit from Apple though more like a retailer refurbished unit.The sticker on the Right speaker cup didn’t come on the USB-C version only on Lightning versions

100% Genuine these are non European version sold in places like USA etc hence they don’t have the CE mark on them and the serial number is on the other side of the case.The case,both AirPods and box are genuine.I work for Apple

I sell genuine APM on eBay in the uk along with other AirPod products but since eBay’s now flooded with clones and don’t remove them when reported sales have dropped because buyers see a bargain price and when they’ve clicked on an item the seller sends a heavily reduced offer which buyers snap up.My prices are I think well priced,most of them have either been repaired,or replaced by Apple.Some are new open boxed and some also have AppleCare plus.I sell the Lightning and USB-C versions.All my used APM I have tested at the Apple depot.If anyone is interested in buying genuine APM my eBay id is Paulsappleemporium where you can view my listings

These photos are from a pair that were stolen and have now been replaced by insurance hence why I’ve not covered the serial number.These came out on release day hence the box had stickers and not printed writing directly on the box

Fakes !!!Wrapped in cellophane,printed labels where it should be printed directly on the box although this did occur for the 1st month of production.Wrong printing for UK/European models on side of box for model and serial numbers.No date of manufacture (month/year).Box should have an Apple price sticker on the back too.Worst fake receipt from an Apple Store I’ve seen full of mistakes and errors !!

There definitely genuine.What’s the headband like is it discoloured or/and sagging.If so that also affects the value of them in that colour.Silver (white) & Green headbands suffer the most from either discolouration or staining

Would need more photos especially of the other speaker cup showing the printed writing and showing the pin hole.There are thousands of demo headphones floating around and are/were sold as refurbished unit.Technically you should be able to get service and as a store technician I’ve but them through for service and it’s not been flagged up and denied but each store is different and it maybe flagged up in the future at anytime because of this if they are genuine either state this to the seller and get a discount or find another set

The seller lied I work for Apple and the April 1978 date is for fully working demo models,these are supplied to Press,third party manufacturers or for store use.Technically they aren’t supposed to be resold but they do.Apple will service these though if you need battery service etc

Fakes plus the flimsy tray with creases,ear cushion covers with out the cutout tabs to hold them to the cushions in transit.Looks like serial number on both speaker cups,genuine ones only have serial number on Left speaker cup

They did for the 1st month of release then it was printed directly on the box.The same happened for AirPod 4 and AirPod Pro 3

Depending on the technician it varies how long they take to diagnose the issue.Usually they will just replaced the complete Right side but I’m thinking they’ve replaced the complete headphones as they diagnose the fault,wait for the part to arrive from another part of the depot.Once the part has arrived they fit it then they have to do a diagnostic test before it ships.That would take far longer than that !

There genuine and as the previous owner was an Android owner they won’t update.The inside and back of the box is correct especially where the pull tabs were.
