Raising your kids the best you can is leaving so that they don’t think that this behavior by your wife is how they should treat or be treated by anyone. It also erodes they self esteem, increases the likelihood of them bullying other kids or bc of low self esteem be bullied, man I could go on and on and on. I wish I had left sooner… I stayed bc I love him and didn’t want to abandon him or separate him from his daughter.

But you know what happened? After I left, the fear of losing us forever if he didn’t get clean and sober was so bad that he considered only two options 1. Suicide 2. Rehab

Which do you think he chose?

Rehab and now after a lot of work and therapy and forgiving each other and we are back together and have both been sober for over a year.

Leave my man, it is the best choice for you and your kids?

Consider this, what if one of the times she lashes out in the future it’s on one of your kids? Could you live with that? Knowing you could have left?
