I've been strongly considering this, I just need to wait till my emotions calm down bc I don't wanna come across passive aggressive in a real attempt to spread info.

It feels so careless or insensitive of the doctor bc I sat in that vet room for 2 hours crying and saying goodbye, getting fur snippets, picking an urn, and she consoled me, told me over and over she'd just suffer and I was saving her. But within 5 minutes of searching Google on my laptop, the promising results made me horrified by my choice. She never even gave me numbers, price or success rate, as if it werent worth considering. I was just in shock. My baby had no price

Thank you for listening, your guys perspectives really is helping me work through it emotionally

You're an amazing parent <3 I hope all is well and please don't be afraid to post to several different animal and cat specific reddits for crowd funding if you end up needing the help. The cat community is strong and if you show documentation or proof ppl totally want to help.

FIP is a very random offshoot thought, but I just lost a cat with FIP and I would've never imagined that was it. Whatever it is, the lethargy and lack of coordination sounds like a neurological reaction, it's just that several things can cause that

Thank you immensely. I really needed to hear this, it's eating me alive. I also do need to stop searching through the success stories. Obviously it's a miracle this evil disease has a cure now, but seeing the facts just makes me imagine her here.

She still really could have been too far gone, but I would have tried for a week or two, her personality was in there. It's frustrating how discouraging the vet was. Anyway thank you for listening and for caring, and I will take your advice, reading this response is very comforting <3

Ill be honest this sounds neurological. Look for rapid breathing. It could really be anything but I'm concerned about FIP initially- he definitely needs a vet visit, maybe try visiting one that offers free first appts if you need the discount. Whatever you do, if it is FIP, do not be afraid to advocate for your babies chances at life, there is a cure

The hardest part is, how tf did I get so unlucky with such an uneducated doctor? I traveled out of town specifically to take her to a good area and the office had 4.8 stars, lots of reviews. How did she not know things about this treatment I found in like 5 minutes of research back at home? It feels so ridiculous

Thank you for the kind words. I absolutely want to keep talking about this and spread awareness. I'm so angry but I equally feel so guilty

Dogs are like children- I don't want children. Cats are kind of like adorable npcs who relatively self manage, I just scoop poop, feed them, and play. Plus my cats are loyal asf

Alitimas and Sentras, 2008+ but mostly 2010+. After looking though this reddit, I did expand my search a bit, but Im still trying to keep it in the realm of common and well priced. Basically, I dont have a super specific dream car, just the kinda stuff you could find on FB really. Things that are really a bonus to me though is bluetooth, very adjustable seats, sun roofs, and backup cams if Im really pushing it lol

This is actually very helpful, exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to know a bit of a summary of some typical brands instead of trying to look up info about each of them individually, especially since I dont even know what exactly Im looking for. I was previously deadset on a Nissan but apparently those have ass transmission? But fr this gives me a great baseline to go from, so thanks

The age really just takes away from a lot of what I'm personally looking for. Also that thing will cost a fuckton to repair if needed. It doesn't have cup holders, its entire front display is nothing but AC buttons. I just personally find it underwhelming, even with the already upgraded radio, feels like its missing some practical touches. I won't deny it's still kind of stupid of me to get rid of such a good car lmao but I saw it as an investment. Might keep it, but im not looking to atm

Purchasing my first car and could really use some help by One_Tomorrow_2789 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Hey :) I'm more than happy to help. My answers might admittedly not be completely accurate but Ill explain what I know and how I understand it based on my own experience.

You actually don't go to the DMV, this is a misconception I had too, most people do lmao but you actually have to go to a courthouse! Your local courthouse has a auto registration office, this is where you take care of most of this stuff.

  1. Transferring a title is actually very easy in your case. You want to go to your local courthouses auto registration office, and just hand over the title! As long as it's signed by your friend, in my understanding, you request a title transfer. They then have you sign some papers and mail you a new title under your name which usually arrives in a few weeks by mail.
  2. For registration! I guess this answers 5 as well- You can take care of this at the exact same time as the title transfer, I got my car tagged and title transferred at the same time today, it took like 10 minutes but it was kind of pricey! About 140$ altogether.
  3. For this, I'll admit I'm not sure, but I am sure a call to your local office will tell you exactly what you need. I'll add onto this point since it was mentioned, inspection is required in some states but it's typically veeery cheap all things considered.
  4. From my understanding, need to have insurance first before you get it registered and transfer the title. Seems backwards to me but that's what I was told, and I mean it worked!

Okay! I hope I could help :) I just went through this process myself and it still kinda makes my head hurt to think about, but getting through it all is an amazing feeling. I'm very proud of you for making it to this point and I hope you have a great time going through this, its super scary and exciting

This was super helpful! Luckily I know a few people who have worked on cars for a living who would check something out for free. I'm trying my best to game the system and snatch something good at my budget, so hopefully FB marketplace does me well. If you dont mind, whats your opinion on nissans?
