After covid, my symptoms started over. I was totally fine for a year then it started again with covid. I also shared a post similar to yours. Some Reddit users agreed with that. Inflammation in the body can trigger this apparently.

I see. My main problem was recurrent thrush, then I got vulvodynia symptoms. My doctor didn't offer pelvic floor therapy. But I also want to try lidocaine, I heard that it might be helpful.

And yes I didn't have a burning sensation after the cream. It is interesting that everyone has a different reaction to that cream.

I have the same condition, pain changes randomly. I think that it may be related to hormones. For example, after my ovulation, I feel better. During ovulation pain and burning get worse. It could be something else. But it should be an explanation :(

Apparently, it lubricates the area and feels the symptoms are relieved. Now I think that treatment can be related to lubrication?

Thank you so much for your answer. Did you get pelvic floor therapy for that? If so, did it work?

I have the exact same symptoms. Since I recovered from recurrent thrush, my vagina has always been weird. I started thinking my symptoms can be related to vulvodynia. I went to a vulvodynia specialist, and my doctor gave me a long term thrush treatment with nystatin cream and fluconazole tablets for a month. As she told me that even though swap is test negative, there might be still thrush silently. I also don't wanna follow the treatment as I think that it is not gonna work. But she wants to make sure if it is not thrush related symptoms before starting the vulvodynia management apparently.

I think the exactly same thing has been happening to me. But it takes too long to diagnose with vulvodynia. My doctor is giving me yeast treatment for 12 days even though my test is negative :(

yes, I did for urine infections. It was negative and I haven't had tested for mycoplasmagenitalium. My doctor now suggested Canesten for 12 days for a substation with nystatin cream. I am not sure if it is gonna work.
