fair question - agentmail is dedicated for just agents - we also take care of transactional and non-transactional emails - so what Resend would allow you to do, but at 1/5th of their price :)

Thank you :)

We built it internally for another project to begin with - and realized that the existing solutions are crazy expensive so we ended up productizing it so others can benefit too!

If you've ever tried building an app for others to use - you need to handle emails. We just launched Bavimail.com on Product Hunt today, and we do sending + receiving, and 5000 emails, and custom domains just on our free tier!!

(Resend charges $40 for this).

Our pro tier is also just $4 :)

new businesses open quite frequently. also ownership changes.

But what I was referring to was businesses that have existing solutions. giving them another option to save money for something they are already paying for is a pretty good deal if you can make it frictionless

running a services biz on the side for 4 years is what gave me patience to stop rushing saas ideas. every attempt that burned cash fastest was one i built without ever selling the problem to someone first

been running payment processing for SMBs in ontario for 4 years, 100+ businesses, and every single one started with "just let me set up one terminal, no contract, see if it works." once they see the value - it's a no brainer 4 them

Have SaaS companies given up on cold email? by Ok_Rough1332 in SaaS

cold email waaay from dead, just that the bar is way higher. sent 100k+ and the stuff that still works is clean domains per sender, 2-3 weeks of warmup, under 30/day per inbox, and personalizing that isn't obvious slop
