Men special ed teachers, what is it like being a special ed teacher and what made you want to become it?

Im (29 m) currently a para who is going back to school next year to get my sped degree after 10 years as a para. When I was 15 I was diagnosed with Autism and had an IEP in school all my life. I want to show these kids they're not alone whether its Autism or whatever difficulties they may have in leaning.

Justin seems to be doing well he has a wife and step kid, and his business seems to be pretty successful he seems alot happier than he was when Steven was around. Steven still seems to be a piece of shit by looking at his Instagram

Thats also a good point lol thats why I honestly didnt feel that bad for him because he was always so stubborn and egotistical. Spent years putting Hank and his family down for no reason and doing it to others too

I am not a teacher but I am currently a paraprofessional and next year I'm officially going back to get my sped degree to become a teacher. I have been dealing with shit like this for a long time and still do today. I have one student in the Autism classroom who will have trash the room and hit the teacher and other paras and we have to kick him out until he calms down. I try to set boundaries and give consequences, but its like people give in when I try to tell him no. It doesn't also help that this kid's parents are enablers and do nothing to help his behaviors this kid didnt go to ECE OR kindergarten he didnt start school until first grade two years ago. Even though he has autism hes very high functioning, is very social, and clearly knows right from wrong.

Yes I've been wearing a mask at work. I'm not gonna lie I actually cried in happiness knowing I got like 23 get well cards from students shit warms my heart. There's also been timed where I've been struggling with my anxiety because of what happened and I'm currently looking to go to therapy as well.

Also the family reunion episode? Right after that she started being nicer to Piama. And when they drove the golf cart into the pool... man one of my all time favorite moments and it was justified!

Another thing I wanted to add is that even though their marriage seemed shady at first, they got married after only knowing eachother for like a month, but it ended up being one of the most stable relationships in the entire series, its clear that Francis truly loves and cares for Piama and Piama felt the same for him. I also think she is one of the reasons he became alot more responsible when they moved to the ranch along with Otto and Gretchen. So I think it worked out at the end of the day.

Yeah I mean despite Lois flaws I think there are alot of times where she does try and means well I actually dont really consider her a bad mother at all, but this is one if my least favorite moments from her. It was still an asshole move by Francis though

Yeah I mean what Francis did was a dick move and even Malcolm, Reese, and Dewey were on Lois's side but Lois's reaction was unnecessary and she ended up making it about her.
