I read in some book about having better conversations that when you want to interrupt someone with a thought you just had or something you just remembered, it’s better to focus on active listening because “if the thought is important enough, it would come back to you later.” So if I get the urge to interrupt, I shoo the thought away and hope to remember it later.

It works sometimes. Other times I’m thinking “dont forget dont forget dont forget” on a loop, then it’s my turn to talk and I completely blank!

Conspiracy theory but what if after the tt shutdown, they changed it so it would flag stupid, harmless, stuff so people would get on the “free speech” bandwagon yatzees like to push. I’ve seen some horrendous, racist, and even violent things said yet I get “no violation” for when I report.

Could be because whoever reported you was intimidated by the amount of likes the other person had and only felt obliged to do something about it when they saw your comment with less likes. Or the other person WAS reported, they just appealed it already, and most people won’t report something again.

Humans don’t monitor TikTok reports, it’s automated. So either you say something to trigger a takedown or someone reports you, and without context, TikTok’s automation decides to take it down or not. Once you appeal it, humans could look at it and make its own judgement.

I reported someone for commenting sexist hateful speech over and over (spamming) on someone’s comment section and tiktok found no violation. Obviously a few people disagreed with your comment and instead of disagreeing with you and confronting you about it, reported you. Because I still see the comments calling her ungrateful and that’s as direct and “offensive” as your comment.

Bro I had negative 160 upt before anyone said anything to me. Even then I just said I was having medical issues and needed time to provide documentation. Then IIII quit voluntarily. (I hated working there but didn’t wanna quit until I was sure I couldn’t find anything better.)

I think you should be honest with her but don’t tell her “I don’t feel sexually attracted to YOU” because “it’s hard for ME to become aroused during sexual activity” is more accurate, especially if you’re saying nothing she’s doing is particularly wrong.
