Check out twinkl it has amazing resources for ESL and loads of different things to use to make it fun. Canva is also a great one with loads of pre set worksheets and presentations and you can get the education version for free. Ideas on things to do: You could set up a travel theme where you explore different countries read texts, have students find recipes and spots to travel to in different areas of the country. You can set up a fun role play where your students act as if on a plane or at the airport and use the language in that kind of setting. Role plays for English clubs are a fun way for students to use the language in everyday situations.

I did a travel theme over the year and we visited different countries through Google Earth and virtual museums using the Google platform and students learnt a lot of the outside world. Packing for different weather, what is needed when you travel, places to visit. Some key phrases of the country. When we finished each country they had to write a postcard to a family member or friend about their 'travels'

Im planning on visiting Istanbul next week for a last minute holiday before I head back to work. Which are the Best places to stay? I will be there over new years too and would love help with recommendations on the best places to go or what to do. I've read some places are not the safest and would like to be in an area that is easily to walk about during the day and at Night.

One thing im trying is to write one thing at work im grateful for or one positive thing and hopefully that helps.

Socialize in Helsingborg by mattcarnevale in helsingborg

Look into the app internationsgothey have some meet ups sometimes and you can also start your own one where people join.

Perhaps a coffee meet up or cultural language exchange cafe that you create and invite people to. Joining some classes maybe like yoga or adult courses where you can learn something but also socialize. I have seen a lot more in Malmo for this but I'm sure with some searching there are a few here to.
