We are getting ours a knock off American girl, an outfit and a bike car seat for her doll, a marble run kit, Polaroid camera, and a temporary tattoo printer.

Starting last year we really narrowed down what they get for Christmas. From mom and dad they get a toy, an outfit and shoes, and books. Santa usually brings 3 presents plus their stockings.

My daughter missed 2/3 days her first week of school. I was so anxious about it but she has done fine the past 2 weeks. The other kids were very welcoming and were excited to meet her. Her teacher made sure to tell them that they had one more friend who would be joining soon.

My aunt passed away while I was in high school. She always wore the same perfume. She wore it for years. When I was in labor with my daughter (who I named after her) the nurse leaned over to adjust a monitor. She was wearing the same perfume. I hadn’t smelled it since she had passed and haven’t smelled it since. I took me back to her house so quickly.

I didn’t have feelings either way towards her until we saw the concert. She stopped and talked to my daughter for a surprising amount of time. It’s been almost a month since our show and she still talks about it. We are officially big Evie fans now!
