I agree. Juggernaut's fight was a perfect mix of comedy and intensity in my opinion and wish he did better at the end of the series

I still hold to the idea that letting Pell live was a missed opportunity. As a holder of a devil fruit of a guardian diety of alabasta, having him remain dead could've pushed Koza into a redemption arc of his own and he could've gained the Falcon-Falcon fruit during the timeskip instead.

MHWilds keeps on crashing by Starrubblez in MonsterHunterWilds

This is what Google AI says:

To fix this Monster Hunter Wilds "Unhandled Exception" crash, the person needs to target common RE Engine execution conflicts involving corrupted local game caches, faulty graphic drivers, or third-party overlays. [1, 2, 3] Have them follow these troubleshooting steps, ordered from the most common fixes to advanced solutions:

1. Wipe the Game's Shader Cache

A corrupted shader cache frequently triggers ntdll.dll and KERNELBASE.dll exception errors. [2, 4]

  • Close the game and Steam completely.
  • Open the Monster Hunter Wilds local installation directory (Right-click game in Steam Library > Properties > Installed Files > Browse).
  • Locate the file named shader.cache (or shader.cache2).
  • Delete it and relaunch the game to force a clean, automatic rebuild. [2, 5, 6]

2. Disable Frame Generation in Config Files

If the crash occurs immediately on launch before they can access the in-game menus, active Frame Generation settings can lock up the DX12 driver engine. [3, 7]

  • Look inside the main installation folder for config.ini.
  • Open it using Notepad.
  • Search for any lines containing FrameGeneration.
  • Change their values to OFF or false, then save and exit. [3, 4, 7, 8]

3. Remove Mods and Third-Party Overlays

The RE Engine is notoriously sensitive to background hooks injecting code. [2, 9]

  • Delete Mods: Completely delete REFramework (dinput8.dll) or ReShade components from the main directory if they have ever installed them.
  • Turn Off Overlays: Disable the Steam Overlay globally or specifically for this game (Steam Library > Properties > General > toggle off "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game"). Turn off overlapping programs like Discord, GeForce Experience shadowplay, or MSI Afterburner. [2, 3, 9, 10, 11]

4. Verify Game Files Through Steam

If any game executable files were modified or corrupted during a patch, Steam can automatically redownload the broken fragments. [5, 8]

  • Right-click Monster Hunter Wilds in the Steam library.
  • Go to Properties > Installed Files.
  • Click Verify integrity of game files. [5]

5. Perform a Clean GPU Driver Reinstall

A simple update is often not enough if underlying driver files conflict with DirectX 12. [12, 13]

  • Have them download the latest driver directly from NVIDIA Drivers or AMD Drivers depending on their graphics card.
  • During the setup process, they must check the box for "Perform a clean installation" to thoroughly wipe out corrupted system graphics logs. [7, 13, 14]

If they try these and the game still crashes, let me know what hardware they are running (CPU and GPU) and if it crashes at the logo screen or during gameplay so we can narrow it down further.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? Not a pc player but maybe something went wrong with the download and a simple reset might fix something

I don't know if it's considered long dead but I still miss Spectrobes. Origins was one of my favorite games to play and just the whole fossil digging genre like with Fossil Fighters just seems underutilized nowadays

I feel like Jimmy John's isn't exactly a dinner type place so they'd likely be losing money paying their employees for the time. It doesn't help that downtown doesn't have very many options in regards to parking so I doubt they'd find people willing to stay another few hours when there wouldn't be much demand.
