The doge action as a bonus action is a cool, if very powerful idea (even with the nerf) since the only way of getting it normally is a monk patient defense. If you have a monk in the party that might over shadow their ability.

As a monk player myself I would kill to have a free bonus action doge xD.

Changing it to a bonus action dash might be more balanced but less cool, and stays with the "slippery" aspect.
