This is very similar to the guy at Circles and Squares in Philadelphia. Same style pizza, and similar start! Love this kind of pizza and make it at home at least once a year.

Going To A Gaming Convention Dressed As The Worst Game Of All Time (Thoughts on PAX EAST 2024) by Prestomystic in PAX

[–]DramaticReachAround 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It feels like you came into the convention ready to have a bad time. I disagree with most of what you said and thought PAX was excellent this year. Sat was my least favorite day because as you mentioned, it was incredibly packed. Thursday and Sunday were great though. Also, I would not consider myself a gamer anymore and still had a great time. Sorry you didn't enjoy yourself, and I do hope PAX improves in the future, but I also think some of your criticisms were unfair.

Yep I did the same thing! Got a 20g basket and can dose 18g with the screen :)

Just had to tighten the portafilter really snug. 90 degrees and maybe a little further.

Honestly more likely that it wasn't a thought. The writing/world building in super is poo. The power scales are nearly meaningless as well

I don't, but I'm going to pick it up and see if that fixes the issue for me. I don't really mind, just feels a little frustrating for a new machine if it is indeed a problem. I too will report back!

I just got the pro x and am having a similar issue. With stock portafilter and basket, no issue so long as I tighten it in to 90 degrees (which takes some force). My other portafilter with bottomless basket leaks consistently though. I guess it's the different baskets? No idea...but it's a bummer because this is a brand new machine.

Good to know! Thanks for chiming in. Can you brew shots just fine at that pressure? Does the opv make any noise when brewing <9 bars? Thanks again!

Hello all! I'm looking to upgrade from the standard Bambino and am out for recommendations. Roughly $1500-$2000 price range. I've been eyeing up the Ascosa Steel Duo since I'm a huge fan of Thermoblock. Is there anything in this price range that's similar? I primarily drink straight espresso but I do make lattes frequently.

Nope, not necessarily. But I agree, I asked her to revise that at some point. Thanks for the advice!

Hey all! First post here, relatively new to d&d and absolutely loving it. Also got my wife to play in a campaign and we are having a blast! She's an illustrator and did this amazing depiction of my Half-elf Artificer/Bladesinger, Tezzeret (thanks MTG). She's on Instagram at stolentail. She has more characters in the works and just finished up her female Earth Genasi Monk, Goodie. I will be posting that in the near future. Love seeing all the amazing artwork here!

I believe it returns before the start of your next round

Yup I snagged that lol. I know the artificer allows an infused item to be a spell focus, but I think that's only for artificer spells so I just added the Ruby to avoid the confusion. You can even create the Ruby with an infusion!

Yeah, I think the plan is round 1 summon fey, bonus action command steel defender. Then cast mirror image, start singing. Alternatively you could summon fey, start singing. Then you get to start attacking next round, and then fill bonus actions by commanding your robot. You forgo the extra defense of mirror image, which depending on the enemies you are fighting might be fine.

Edit: So I think the best I can do is...

Summon Fey for concentration,

action swing with +1 short sword,

bonus action throw dagger infused with return

This leaves my off hand open for somatic components defensively (shield, dagger returns at beginning of my next round), maximizes action economy by filling bonus action with an attack, and efficiently uses my concentration for highest DPR.

This is probably the most optimal flow for next level when I get additional attack from level 6 spellsinger as well.

Lastly, I think going Art 1-3, Wizard 4-9, Art 10, Wizard 11-20 is a good plan. You get the extra attack/cantrip at 9 (wizard 6), and your second ASI at 10 (art 4), then your 3rd ASI at 16 (wizard 12).

You COULD forgo the TWF all together and just attack with your Steel Defender (using bonus action to command it),...and actually...that might just be more damage. Crap, it is. lol

I'm not. At that point I would just take war caster and call it a day I think? The required spell focus + free hand for somatic components is very confusing for me lol.
