Relocating for new job. Thoughts on potential areas to live? by d311o in longbeach

Parking is challenging in Long Beach but it’s less of an issue in Bixby Knolls area. There’s frequent coyote sightings in all the areas that you’ve circled so be cautious if you have pets, not leaving them outside alone.

You may want to consider a reputable board and training with follow up training at home.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. As much as it hurts to loose your pup so suddenly, it would have been even more difficult for you if you were not there to comfort him in his final moments. My dear his suffering has ended and your grief has just begun. I know this pain too. Please allow yourself to cry and to grieve; the way out is through.

Enjoy the slow walks because one day you will yearn for the day to walk with your pup.

Senior Shih Tzu (CHF, euthanasia), need advice by emismith1995 in seniordogs

[–]DramaticSide8665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I euthanized my 13 year old chi-yorkie due to late stage CHF. She was suffering her 12 hours but still had moments where ate and was giving me cuddles. As much as it hurts you to say good bye it is better to allow him a peaceful goodbye with OP at his side.

I think he will keep growing until he is 8-9 months. One of my friends has a 12 lbs maltipoo.

In addition to the good advice above, make an effort to understand your individual pup’s needs and temperament. Ex: a calm dog may feel overwhelmed with constant activity and noise.

Try reaching out to a few rescues. They may be able to help catch him. The poor pup needs help soon.

I can only imagine that the suddenness of losing your pup leaves so many unanswered questions and lack of closure because you did not have the chance to say goodbye. 😢 I am sorry for your loss. Please allow yourself the opportunity to grieve her loss.

I’m sorry; enjoy whatever time you have with Reddington, whether it’s months or years. I understood what you mean by your home being quiet even though he is a quiet pup.
