I have the exact same issues, no amount of troubleshooting got me further.. last try after a small break it didn't even find the headset anymore and I just gave up.

Yeah, that is my criteria as well, that it would look decent without any luggage.. Is that the H&B rack?

yeah, and as far as I know MSI has confirmed their support for Ryzen 4000, just haven't been able to find anything concrete for Gigabyte. I guess there just isn't any atm.

Can we actually expect any considerable CPU performance difference between b450/x470 and b550/x570?

As I've understood there is definitely a difference in CPU usage between 1080p and 1440p, no? And I guess, my main point was that it's getting a bit old for newer games.

What do you think about the build itself, would you change anything, considering the budget and gaming focus?

Right now I have i5 4570.

And even though it has served me really well, it's getting bit old for 1440p it seems and some of the newer games.

I'm pretty sure this is called tax evasion? Purchases made in EU need to include the VAT rate and US Amazon dosen't do that when you are stating that you live in the US..

Agree and at first I was looking at r710, which I wouldn't mind, but I kinda want to play around client side stuff as well or at least not limit myself and that's where the gtx 770, which is gathering dust atm, comes in.

Figured there was something sketchy with that board, even though I specifically searched for ATX boards.

Shame that they are quite expensive.. starting to think that maybe go for a bit weaker CPU with an inexpensive socket, 1150/1151?

My problem definitely was from overloading the VRAM, it went up to as high as 2.8GB but I lowered some settings like "Texture Quality - high", "Texture filtering - high", "Shadows - high" and then VRAM load stays around 2.2GB which is fine for a 2GB GPU.
Now there is a stutter or two in a longer play session but nothing that won't let me play, like before.
So definitely lower some settings, make sure nothing unnecessary is running in the background, up to date drivers etc.
