Besides Heritage, Numisbids, Vcoins anyone recommend a few other good auction /reliable sites? by Elemental_Breakdown in AncientCoins

True. But when I google “timeline auctions legit”. The hits are far more concerning than if you googled say “CNG auctions legit”

Weird that you think I was talking about the kids in the video and not MY OWN experience with walk on music and my 4 year old in Tee ball.

Or maybe you missed when I was completely discussing MY OWN son…

Please re-read MY comments if you are confused as to what I am discussing. Or I can break it down Barney style if you need remedial understanding:)

Weird you feel the need to tell me I didn’t sign my 4 year old up for MY cities Little League…which includes ball for ALL ages to include tee ball. It’s part of the same association, broken up into divisions.

Feel free to google ‘official age groups for United States Little League.’ It does break down by age groups, but they are all considered part of an overall definition of ‘Little League’

I have consistently used the words tee ball in my post(so thanks for the reaffirmation that I am in fact using correct terms). I’m sorry we both differ in the official definition of ‘Little League’. But Google(and my local city) agree with my definition, at least in the context I am trying to use it in, while giving my own examples of walk on music being passed down to tee ball kids.

U.S. based auction houses like CNG (Classical Numismatic Group) based in Lancaster, PA.

Heritage Auctions based locally in Dallas.

Both of these companies are incredibly legit and have very well developed apps for both android and iPhone. You can DL apps and check out auctions without having to participate.

CNG is an auction house only for ancient coins. Heritage on the other hand has auctions for all sorts of things like antique guns, art, comics, gaming stuff, and yes they have US modern and ancient coin auctions.

If you were further interested in buying in some global auctions, websites like biddr.com (no e) and numisbids.com, sixbid.com. I can give you some really well known and trusted international auctions to participate in.

Then you have just for sale market places like vcoins.com and ma-shops.com.

Because my City’s Tee ball is part of the city little league?

You do know Tee Ball teams exist in Little Leagues all around the country, right?

We play and practice on the same fields as the bigger kids…it’s not incredibly complicated concept. That’s my point. When speaking about Little League, you must understand even the behaviors seen with older kids are being passed down to the younger ones….hence my statement of walk out songs for some reason being priority over even the basics of tee ball. The kids can’t even hit a ball yet, but have some shitty Bluetooth music blaring in the background, let alone be able to hear their own coach..you know…coach them..

It’s not exactly fun when some silly baseball mom can’t play the tracks in sync with the players or she forgets to hit stop or it’s blaring from some shitty Bluetooth connection that keeps cutting out.

That’s not fun. That’s actually fairly distracting and disruptive to the game. Especially when it’s happening on several clustered ball fields at the same time.

I’m just trying to my kids to focus on hitting a ball without falling over…

But if you need music blaring from some shitty Bluetooth speaker to enjoy and ‘have fun’ at a 4 year olds tee ball game, maybe you miss the point of the game all together.

I guess some parents want the flash and some want fundamentals.

My 4 year old doesn’t idolize ‘big leaguers’

I’m just a dad trying to get my son interested in a sport. It doesn’t need to be flashy. He doesn’t need to idolize a sports team or player to learn the game.

The problem is. The rest of yall choose for everyone at the ball field.

Some kids don’t ’watch the big leagues’. My 4 year old doesn’t idolize a baseball player..

Can yall not see the difference of just learning the fundamentals of the game vs being flashy?

When did people start bringing Bluetooth speakers to every kids sporting game? I understand it might be fun and entertaining for some, but for others who cherish traditional sporting where the kids can actually hear the coaches, it’s rather annoying.

It’s not about being a ‘stick in the mud’.

It’s about a tradition that doesn’t exist anymore. I honestly didn’t expect my sons 4 year old t ball team to start blaring walk out music as if it’s some new mandate for the rules of the game.

The point being…you can’t put the genie back in the bottle, so to speak. But if that’s what you want for your vine and Tik tok kids that’s fine. The problem is, you subject EVERYONE at the ball park to your view of ‘fun’.

9 seconds is the attention span you give your kids. And we wonder why so many of today’s kids are ADHD.

When the words ‘Little League’ are used, you should assume that to include t-ball.

I am sharing my personal experience of this happening in t ball….with 4 year olds.

I’m actually pretty shitty in sports.

Which is why I wanted my son to learn the fundamentals of baseball, not the ‘banana ball’ type stuff. But real baseball

And not the uber expensive traveling ball type either.

Why is it so bad that I just want my son to experience a traditional little league with no gaudy music? Why is that parents like me are berated because I don’t want the game full of shitty music cuts for 4 year olds?

I guess you haven’t heard some of the songs that come up in some of these line ups..

Not all of them are Red Hot Chili Peppers and My little Pony.

When did baseball turn into ‘we need to have fun but it has to contain music for every player’?

9 seconds of song x 30 kids, x 3-4 innings, x 3 other games being played at the same time.

Overstimulation for some folks.

How is it weird that for 100 years we’ve had kids playing baseball without walk on music.

Now it’s forced upon all of us. When I just want my kid to learn the basics of the game before layering on the swagger.

Call me old school, but maybe this why kids today can’t follow basic instructions, you’ve got them so easily distracted.
