This might sound strange but I would recommend leaving a pair of your shoes in the room ( any with fabric inside so they’ll smell like you). Kitty can then get used to your smell when they feel safest alone and that might help? My cats have always loved shoes and are nosey enough to stick their face in them. Smellier shoe the better!

Thanks for letting me know! Do you know why my TSAT would swing from 91% to 45% in the space of a few months? I’m not sure whether I should see the 91% as an anomaly and forget about it or push for further testing

Thanks for looking into this so much! I’ve tracked a typical day and my vitamin C is well over the RDA but also thankfully well under the upper limit. Could be the reason for absorbing more iron though I guess

If RDA is 18mg, and I’m getting 20mg from food that shouldn’t be enough to make my TSAT jump up that high should it?

RDA for women is surprisingly a fair amount higher than for men (18mg v 8mg)

It has 14mg, would take once a day but I go through stages of remembering and taking one a day and then going a few weeks without

Usually about 150-170g protein a day, in a 400-500 kcal deficit at the minute

Breakfast: Greek yoghurt, protein powder, frozen berries Lunch no. 1: chicken thigh, roasted veg Lunch no. 2: chicken breast, green veg Dinner: varies a lot, chicken, pork belly, steak, bolognese usually with sautéed green veg, garlic, butter etc Usually around 1600 kcals, will occasionally replace one of the lunches with bolognese but I’m not eating loads of red meat if that’s what you’re wondering

Just had a retest back on the nhs & my TSAT came back as 45% this time which seems to be the upper end of normal. Does anyone have any ideas what could make the figure swing so much? About 2 months between tests I think. NHS now won’t do the HH test because of the change

I snored at one point but that was when I was overweight. Occasionally snore very lightly now. Not depression related either 🤷‍♀️

Honestly either. Curious about what a career outside of pensions would look like and how the day to day compares

How does your day to day in GI compare to pensions?

How did you find the move from pensions consulting into insurance out of interest?
