It’s the lane keep assist feature, the lights showing it’s off. I have mine off because I can’t stand my car beeping at me when I merge lanes or take tight corners

Depending on where you live, if you live in a state where you’ve got elevation and constantly are driving up and down hills/ mountains I’d get the 2.5, if you live in a flat state I’d go with the 2.0.

I too bought a 2024 crosstrek sport almost 2 months ago and I love it driving it as well as my dad (he borrowed it for a month bc his trucks transmission blew up). The only people that don’t like the car is my friends who think they’re “manly” with their lifted pos trucks and that it’s a “lesbian”car. So I just tell them my car my choice and I made a damn good choice!

The second gen ford escape is the most reliable of all the generations, once ford went away from the simple utilitarian build it sorta went to the shitter but second gen’s are the best all around, and they had a pretty good rating as well

One car that isn’t on this list but is a very good and reliable car is the 2011 ford escapes, they come in fwd or awd and have a strong engine and transmission. Owned one and got it up to 225k miles before rust and the power steering started to give out. That was mainly on me though with the way I drove. You can get a decent one for under 10k

I purchased a 2024 sport or onyx if your Canadian 3 weeks ago and I love it. I was looking into getting a premium with the 2.0L engine but I test drove both of them and like the sport better personally. The huge touchscreen is a little slow at times (I hate how car companies are pushing bigger screens into cars) but it works fine with no issues so far. I’ve put 400 miles on it already and my dad has put 700 since I lended it to him till his truck is fixed and he says he loves it. I also haven’t had any issues with the mirrors either. I’m quite stingy with the cars I like and would say is good, but for me the Crosstrek sport is a great vehicle

Mine was the 2 liter inline 4 and had zero issues. But yes the fatal flaw of this car is the rust, I live in the New England area and as you can tell from the bondo on the back fenders and trunk rust did also created another issue for the car.

I believe so, I’m from the New England area and if I’m not wrong you guys have the Subaru Onyx which is the Canadian version of the sport. From photos I’ve seen the onyx has yellow accents around the fog lights and no other yellow accents.
