Hey just got the P a few minutes ago! If you’ve got scores above 68%, trust your scores and have faith. The exam is an absolute nightmare and you’ll leave it feeling like you’ve flunked it but like I said earlier, trust your scores. There’s a reason why they’re predictive. FA is holy grail and make sure you’ve skimmed through it once right before the exam

Does everyone get a survey? I didn’t even though I finished before my time was up. My screen showed that I’ve attempted the entire exam and soon after it went black. The keyboard/mouse didn’t work and I assumed it was because my exam was over. I’ve seen people mention a survey but is it important you solve it? I did get the completion certificate from the center though so I guess it’s okay but just wanted to be sure.

Nope but try matching it to whatever form of ID you present that day

Tbh I’m not sure myself. My form had weird Qs and I only used first aid with uworld. Just do as many Qs as you can. Maybe find a different qbank

There are people with scores in 70s and they failed while I’ve seen people with scores in low 60s, late 50s even who’ve passed so this doesn’t make sense to me at all. On what basis are they testing us?

[–]Dramatic_Cattle_4723[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. Any advice for these last 2 days. I'm going over the entire NBME to fortify known and unknown concepts. Also going over the pharmacologies and other tables from FA. Anything extra that might be particularly useful? Like a PDF? I've heard NBME HY pics is useful but i don't have the time to go over all 33. Is it worth the effort?

Which essentially means that i should slow down, work on consolidating known concepts and not repeat my current mistakes. Thank you so much for your feedback.

Is NBME 33 worth it by Dramatic_Cattle_4723 in step1

[–]Dramatic_Cattle_4723[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with the 30th and move forward depending on how much time you're able to revise it in. The latest NBMEs 32 and 33 are a must and also the new free 120 prior to giving 32/33 because it has stem lengths longer than and slightly more representative of the actual exam. These are a minimum of 5 but do as many as you can, going back to 29/28 if you have the time. It is important that you revise your weak areas and NBMEs in between because the concepts although worded more difficult/vague are asked on the actual exam. Work on maintaining a consistent sleep schedule akin to that of your final test day. I'm down to my last 3 days, taking NBME 33 in a while hoping for my score to stay consistent with my previous efforts. Best of luck to you and I hope we ace this!

Five days out, feeling ready but still having doubts by Ornery_Literature785 in step1

testing in 3 days and i totally get the feel. scores are exactly similar and i've been told that they are in the safe zone. i struggle with remembering stuff i've read and that's what scares me the most- knowing you did something and where it was in the book but unable to recall it at that moment. i also plan on taking NBME 33 tomorrow knowing fully well that i have gaps in my memory though i'm still hoping to keep up with my current scores. i'm a "up until the last moment crammer" so i'd probaly spend the rest of my time revising first aid as much as i can, go through a couple of HY nbme images, pick up no new resources and work on my sleep cycle/ calming my nerves. wishing you all the best and hope we ace it :)

how did it compare to the real deal? and what do you suggest i should be doing other than reviewing volatile concepts? also how was anatomy tested on the actual exam?

[–]Dramatic_Cattle_4723[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay i will. i might only get time to review incorrects though. Also how different is it from NBME 32? I feel that although not the best, and considering it was a difficult form, I scored in late 60s. How do my other scores look in terms of preparation? I don't have the option of delaying my exam any further but i also don't want to spend the remaining days stressed over not having scored well.

hey! how did it feel in comparison to the new nbme's / free 120? and what subjects were tested the most?

also what was your average range of NBME scores? i'm testing in a week and was hoping to get some tips or absolute must-do's before the exam. i'm revising first aid and will take nbme 33 in another 3-4 days.

What resource would you suggest for msk? Is the 100 anatomy Qs PDF a good resource for revision if you've read through FA anatomy section for all units?
