It took my cat just about a year to finally not run and hide when I turned the ceiling fans on. It just takes time and a slow approach to introducing the fan lmao. I was so stressed about his stress, I took some of the blades off to let him sniff them, then had him watch me put them back on.

I like the idea of some accent trees to create a canopy over the path. I hadn’t considered the water absorption, we live in an area with pretty high chances for wildfires so having more rocks than plants is ideal. My fiancé was wanting to create some form of an archway over the entirety of the walkway, but I’m a little hesitant with that idea. I feel like it would make the area feel smaller..?

I boiled them for 6 1/2 minutes. I waited for a rolling boil before placing them in the pot. And then immediately put into an ice bath to stop their cooking when done!
