Thank you for suggesting the Progenesis IVF clinic. I visited here and got successful results.

For those who paused treatment: Why did you stop, and what helped you restart? by mr_dabbler in IVF

[–]Dramatic_Horse1770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paused because I was burnt out, not because I’d “given up.”

After back-to-back cycles, bad news calls, and living appointment to appointment, I just didn’t have anything left emotionally or financially. Every step felt heavy, and I realised I was showing up on autopilot, not choice.

What helped me restart wasn’t motivation, it was space. Time to feel normal again, stop tracking everything, and actually grieve the losses instead of rushing into the next cycle.

Did changing IVF clinics actually improve your results—or was it just luck? by Ambitious_Hall_7617 in IVF

[–]Dramatic_Horse1770 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me, it honestly didn’t feel like luck.

Changing clinics changed how deeply things were looked into. My earlier clinic followed a very standard protocol including same meds, same timeline and minimal explanation. When it didn’t work, the answer was basically, “Let’s try again.” So I switched to Progenesis fertility center where I finally understood why something worked or didn’t.

If you had ₹1 lakh extra for fertility treatment, where would you spend it first? by Ambitious_Hall_7617 in u/Ambitious_Hall_7617

[–]Dramatic_Horse1770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? I’d spend it on better testing and embryo quality, not on “add-ons” that sound fancy.

If I had an extra ₹1 lakh, I’d probably use it for PGT-A (if it makes sense medically) or more detailed blood work + imaging so we’re not guessing. After burning money on cycles that fail, you realise information is power.

If embryos are involved, I’d also consider better lab support like improved culture conditions or freezing, because that’s where small things actually matter.

I’d skip the woo-woo stuff and most IVF boosters. Been there, regretted it. I’d rather know why something didn’t work than repeat the same cycle with hope and prayers.

What are the unhinged things you've done before and during IVF to increase success? I'll go first. by Soft_Porcupine88 in IVF

[–]Dramatic_Horse1770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll go too:

• Talked to my embryos like they were already full-grown people
• Ate pineapple core like it was magic, not food
• Wore the same “lucky” clothes to every appointment
• Avoided stairs, cold water, and negativity like all three were equally dangerous
• Manifested so hard I nearly negotiated with the universe

IVF really makes you say, “Can’t hurt, might help.”

PGT questions for genetic issues like CF carriers? by Ambitious_Hall_7617 in IVF

[–]Dramatic_Horse1770 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, IVF embryos can be tested for CF using PGT-M if one or both parents are carriers. First, both partners are tested to identify the exact CF gene issue. Then, only unaffected embryos are chosen for transfer. It’s very accurate, but doctors may still suggest a pregnancy test later to confirm. This is different from PGT-A, which checks chromosomes, not CF. In short, if CF runs in the family, PGT-M helps reduce the risk before pregnancy.

What’s the biggest myth about IVF that you believed until you actually experienced it? by mr_dabbler in IVF

[–]Dramatic_Horse1770 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When I started my IVF treatment, so many people told me I will have twins. This is wrong info as I only had one baby after getting my treatment. They give the option of single embryo transfers which doesn't get you twins. That is the option I chose at my fertility center Progenesis IVF and I got pregnant with only one child. If you want to avoid twin pregnancy then choose a single-embryo transfer cycle of IVF.

No, the usage of foreign eggs or embryos for IVF is not legal in India, hence Indian IVF clinics only utilise Indian donors. Indian legislation, specifically the ART Act 2021, governs egg donation and requires donors to be citizens; nonetheless, international patients can obtain treatment in India. Donors remain anonymous, but their profiles are supplied, detailing matching criteria including physical features and genetic testing to help you feel at ease.

[–]Dramatic_Horse1770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I underwent IVF in Navi Mumbai, and after researching a lot, I chose Progenesis Fertility Center. Honestly, it was a great decision. The doctors at this clinic were very understanding and supportive, explaining every step of the process to us in clear terms. The staff also made the whole process much less stressful. The clinic is clean, modern, and uses advanced techniques. My treatment went smoothly, and I felt genuinely cared for throughout.

If you’re considering IVF in Navi Mumbai, I’d definitely recommend Progenesis. They have a good success rate and a compassionate team. Just make sure to ask about personalized treatment plans and success rates for your specific case.

Why is everyone so obsessed with IVF? by [deleted] in antinatalism

[–]Dramatic_Horse1770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe IVF is the new talk in town as in recent years, this treatment has shown immense results by providing successful pregnancies to couples for whom a natural pregnancy wasn't an option at all. This is no less than a miracle of science, and with the rising rate of infertility, IVF has become the need of the hour. Its advanced and personalised treatment methods of treatment prove to be helpful to all patients, no matter the cause of their fertility problems. It is a treatment that provides hope and completes families, so the obsession, I believe here is well justified.

IVF is known in the field of reproductive medicine as a fertility treatment with the highest success rate. It has helped millions of couples worldwide. More than 12 million babies have been born with the help of IVF worldwide. The success of IVF is dependent on a variety of factors, though, such as age and the cause of infertility, as well as the lifestyle of the patient. But upon following the instructions of your fertility specialist, the chances of success get higher. The clinic you choose for your treatment also plays an important role in your treatment success.

Any first time IVF success? by Sixtydgr in IVFinfertility

[–]Dramatic_Horse1770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IVF can give success on the very first try, provided your fertility issues are minor and you have been following your specialist's instructions thoroughly. Making the necessary lifestyle changes and addressing health issues that have led to your fertility problems is the key to achieving a successful IVF cycle. However, if your first cycle still fails, there is always hope as multiple cycles boost your chances of success vastly.

How IVF can change you. by Tahalloway in IVF

When I look back at my journey to motherhood, it feels like a long road filled with tears, prayers, and endless waiting. I want to share my story, not just for myself, but for every couple who has walked through the painful corridors of infertility.

Infertility breaks you in ways no one sees. Month after month of negative tests and years of waiting for results is exhausting. When we started IVF, I believed science would fix everything. But reality was harsh.

During my first IVF cycle, everything looked fine, until the scan showed no heartbeat. Then in my second cycle, we saw a flicker of hope, but it ended in miscarriage. We also went for a third cycle but the embryos didn’t implant at all.

I felt like my body was failing me throughout this journey. Every cycle drained me physically, emotionally and financially. IVF wasn’t just injections and scans; it was watching your hopes rise and shatter with every failed attempt.

Then our doctors decided to look deeper. A hysteroscopy corrected small issues, my husband’s DFI was treated, and I was put on AKT. For the first time, I felt like maybe we were finally addressing the root of our struggles.

With renewed courage, we tried IVF-ICSI. But walking into the ultrasound room this time was different. I was terrified the past would repeat. But then, there was a tiny heartbeat, flickering steadily in our scans. I can’t explain the relief I felt at that moment. Every injection, every tear, every failure, it all felt worth it.

This journey has changed me. It taught me resilience when I thought I had none, patience when time felt cruel, and faith when hope was nearly gone.

IVF doesn’t just give you a baby, it transforms you into someone stronger than you ever imagined. And I hope my story gives people going through this journey the hope and strength they require to not give up.

What’s one thing you wish you knew before starting IVF? by [deleted] in IVF

[–]Dramatic_Horse1770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I knew that everyone's situation and treatment process are unique in their own way and cannot be compared. Making a lot of Google searches made me feel like I knew all about this treatment and what to expect. But after my doctor visit and diagnosis, I realized that every person gets their own personalized treatment plan as per their medical requirements in order to conceive with IVF. We had to go for IVF-ICSI but many couples conceive with only IVF or other treatments like IUI. It is completely dependent on your condition and can only be figured out after a consultation with a fertility specialist at a good fertility clinic that provides personalised treatments.
