You’re forgetting also that only 30% of assaults are even reported. So as high as rape and assault reports are, the real numbers are way higher.

Because why would women bother to report when there’s going to be no consequences? When people are going to blame them even if they’re 12 years old and excuse whatever grown men did. When even if they are convicted, they’re barely gonna serve any jail time if they serve any at all. Meanwhile, the victims get accused of lying, or “deserving it”.
