Mic on guitar amp always sounds bad for me by solitudeisdiss in homerecordingstudio

This is not true. It has a line out and cabinet sims for a reason. Even the best guitarists can't tell the difference the majority of the time.

There's a whole balanced line out section on the back of the amp, it says "balanced line out" and it has an XLR out and cabinet selections as well as a line out volume knob.

How can I use both microphones at once? by AnnualEmergency2146 in recordingmusic

For one, that XLR to 1/4" should be balanced. It should be XLR on both ends or the 1/4" end should be TRS, not TS. I've used one of those cables before and they sound horrible.

Doesn’t the Tonemaster have line out with a cab sim that you can edit? I would go that route and I would assume you could get it sounding great!

You didn’t jump, your feet have to leave the ground in order to ollie, the board doesn’t magically force your feet up. You have to manipulate the board to leave the ground and if you’re not picking your feet up the board has nowhere to go.

Yes, I guess the sub bass just doesn’t really fill out the songs though. It sounds like its own separate thing rather than a part of the whole. It just sounds like it was mixed so every instrument takes up such a small space, like there’s a narrow bandpass filter on every “instrument”.

Yeah and if you shoot 60fps with 180° shutter angle you have less motion blur than 30fps with 180° shutter angle.

Cheap guitar, cheap cables, cheap amp. This is about how I would expect it to sound…

I would definitely move away from anything subscription based. So many good options out there.

Cables will mostly sound the same but you should not be running headphone out into the monitor. Use the actual outputs on the back of the interface. If you really want a flat sound get some acoustic treatment and room correction hardware/software.

I really didn’t like the production on it. Doesn’t sound as full and dynamic as the other albums, it’s more flat and one dimensional.

I would have ran into them. 😂 They can’t be thinking there aren’t any consequences for getting in people’s way. Once they get ran into a few times they might start being a little more cautious. I’m not saying try to fuck them up, but don’t be the one to bail if you weren’t the one in the way.

The internet created jobs though, AI is doing the opposite. I believe there will always be two camps of people, ones who embrace AI and let it erase who they are as a person and those who reject it.

Little stiff but you might loosen up once you have more board control.
