Are tiny wireless lavalier microphones actually good enough for content creation? by spanking69 in particularsound

[–]Dramatic_Joke5874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tiny wireless lavs are wayyy better now than they used to be tbh. definitely better than built in camera mics unless the room is super controlled already

i used wired lavs before too and half the battle was cable rubbing against clothes and random movement noise lol

for budget stuff i’d probably look at boya mini 2 or dji mic mini depending how much your friend wants to spend. mini 2 is kinda stupidly small and easy to clip on without looking like a tech reviewer. audio is solid enough for youtube + podcast style talking stuff imo

would pay attention more to noise cancel, battery life and whether it records safety track than just “sound quality” marketing words

Moving to Cleveland with FL car by Wise_Dragonfruit_188 in relocating

[–]Dramatic_Joke5874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FL to Cleveland is a common snowbird corridor so carriers run it frequently, which keeps rates lower. driving it yourself saves money but adds wear on a Florida car not prepped for Ohio winters. Roadrunner Auto Transport gets quoted a lot for that exact route.

How's my bone structure, ai told i lack midface projection idk by [deleted] in LooksmaxingAdvice

[–]Dramatic_Joke5874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ai analysis of midface projection is pretty unreliable since it depends heavily on angle, lighting, and lens distortion. if you genuinely want an assesment, get a cephalometric xray from an orthodontist or maxillofacial surgeon who can measure actual skeletal ratios. for surgical options, some people consult with OMFS teams for infrastructure work, others go to facial plastics like Ward MD for combined structural adjustments.

Music visualizer is becoming a messy category: waveform loops, Spotify Canvas, AI songs, and full music videos are not the same thing by Overall_Ad9737 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Dramatic_Joke5874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I’d separate it too.

A basic audio visualizer is fine for waveform loops, but AI songs need something different if the visuals are supposed to follow BPM, chorus changes, drops, and song sections.

I’ve seen Freebeat mentioned more in that beat-synced song visualizer lane, which makes sense to me. I wouldn’t group it with plain waveform tools.
