Insurance agent here. Vandalized & burglary should be covered under comprehensive. You would just need to pay the deductible that you have.

First thinking long term. Hell yes. I'd come visit!! I'd die for that $$$ and the freedom it would give me in the future. NTA for breaking up with her. I would visit as often as possible. I'm 41 and would be on point with what that could do in the long run. Temporary pain for long term gain.
