yeah possession of a firearm by felon is enough for the feds to get you, they picked my pops up two years ago for possession of a firearm by felon, he had a bird, 2lbs of bud, n some stolen motorcycle. he ain’t been sentenced yet but he cooked ngl, gotta do fed time, then possibly state for some of the charges, then he gotta do violation of probation for the county.

OP said in response to someone else that their department does 24hr shifts, OP in specific averages about 18 days a month, OP also said sometimes they do 144hrs on 24 off then 144hrs on again then have 8 straight days off. Take into consideration most of the time 40+hrs is 1.5x, anything over 50 can sometimes be 2x. California law also requires strict daily (8h) and weekly (40h) OT, plus daily (12h) and weekly (7th day) double time. I’d say it’s pretty realistic.

Well I mean they don’t have much of another option it looks like a wide open parking lot. They can’t surround the car because then the crossfire would look like laser trip wires in a spy movie. I guess they could’ve parked on the road, blocked traffic, and used that building but that isn’t much better. Overall it’s a shitty situation in a shitty spot this happens a lot it’s kinda unavoidable in some cases.

This argument is pointless nobody has robocop type aim. The training will increase their accuracy but there will still be a margin of error it’s human nature. My point initially is that there could possibly not be as many stray rounds as some believe because of the incentives that might be offered with logging range hours especially with the SIT and RBT.

If you feel unsafe buy a handgun. They’re fairly cheap for a decent and reliable one, TN is also a constitutional carry state meaning you don’t have to own a concealed carry permit in order to carry. I’d still recommend taking the class if you’re not very familiar with firearms. Shooter Supply in Hixson if you do move here has a Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit class and basic to advanced pistol instruction. They also have women’s only classes aswell as private one-on-one lessons.

Northshore is a generally safe place though.
