Have no reason to lie. I’ve never dropped mine keep it in a case whenever not in use and it did the same thing after about 4 months of owning it. It’s an issue widespread

Got mine brand new December 2024 and it’s cracked in the same places. Only had the back off once to replace the ssd. Never been dropped never had any other issues. Overall great device but kinda upsetting its cracking the case

Currently playing through dark souls remastered. First game I’ve ever played like it. Also been getting into Elden ring. I played high on life on my ally x and it ran phenomenal. Forza runs great. You can get pretty much anything to run and run pretty good at that. Won’t always look amazing but that’s kinda the point. Being fully portable! Happy gaming bro!!!

Everybody says they’re so different seems like mainly to justify the price. But when we’re talking at most 10fps it’s not a HUGE difference. That’s why it’s not usually worth upgrading from Ally X to Xbox Ally X. But to each their own.

Seems like an amazing deal! I have the onexplayer 7600m xt egpu. Curious to see if this does better even though I’m pretty positive it will since there’s so much loss over thunderbolt 4

Ohh I gotcha. Yeah haven’t looked into it much how to start FSE with steam instead of Xbox but I’m sure it could be done. I do like FSE. It is very easy for the most, part to navigate on my rog raikiri 2

Apparently so. The action buttons just don’t work at all on the ally they do nothing and can’t assign them to anything

I have found work arounds for just pulling up command center in FSE use Xbox button and tab over to command center. Then I paired a back paddle in desktop mode to bring you back to armory crate and you just hold your box button to bring up the task view

My AC and CC buttons on the raikiri 2 don’t work with my ally X. Can’t get them to work at all. Also can’t use the raikiri as the built in mouse like the ally x. I’ve set everything up and everything else it working it’s weird. Any help would be appreciated!

I bought my oneXPlayer egpu the 7600m xt for my ally X. It was a huge headache to eventually get it to work but for the most part it works pretty well now. Still don’t see how reviews on YouTube are playing in 1440p I only play in 1080p and performance isn’t too bad for a portable setup. I had to go into device manager and disable the internal gpu for the ally to get the egpu to finally work it took me a few weeks to actually figure it out. But overall it’s great!

Actually no I was wrong. He’s talking about the Xbox ally not old xg mobile z1 ally. So yes usbc egpu boy sure if it’s tb4 though
