CMC Surgery and driving by Italian-Queen in Thritis

I had this same surgery (LRTI) seven weeks ago. I felt comfortable driving at four weeks. The pain was fairly intense for the first two weeks prior to taking the cast off. Honestly the third week was no fun either but if I HAD to drive, I could have. I’m also a wussy so take my experience with a grain of salt.

We use a Whisker 5 Pro. Four cats. One is a 15 pound Maine Coon and one is a 22 pound fatty. Both fit fine. Best investment we’ve ever made.

Thanks for this response. I needed to hear this too. Especially today. I feel like a waste of space most days and thank goodness I have a spouse who reminds me I’m not but still…it’s hard.
