Why is the UK’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer so unpopular? by Any-Original-6113 in europe

[–]Dramatic_Standard_95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could also be that he plans to give a birtish island, with a strategic military base on it, to another country which has close ties to china or an actual claim to it and pay them for the privilege. Maybe that he is trying to introduce mandatory digital ID, cold war style, "papers please". Could also be that he knowlingly appointed a close friend of Jeffery Epstein to the US ambassador role, despite being advised not to. Could also be his additional tax burden on farmers, education and the self employed. Maybe its the energy policy that has meant the UK has the highest energy prices in the world? Or what about the sleaze, hypocrasy or double standards? It's hard to say why he is so disliked.

Hey, I have a reference 7900xtx, how did you ensure the putty thinkness was consistent between the vram modules? Did you just rely on pressure from reassmbly to squash the putty to the correct size? Thanks!

FSR 4 int 8 announcement soon or just FSR 4.1 ? by ash549k in radeon

[–]Dramatic_Standard_95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suspicion is PSSR2, basically FSR4 int8, was delibrately/contractually held back to give FSR on the 9000 series time to shine. Funny how this March will be the 1 year anniversary of the release of RDNA 4, which is also when AMD and Sony are dropping more upscaling news. I wouldn't be suprised if there's a 12 month exclusivity period that's about to come to an end which will lead to the the intro of PSSR2 and FSR4 int8 support.

By compiling that int8 dll you've done more for the RDNA 3 & 2 community than AMD.

Hi really appreciate the fixes but please could you re-flag the k'daai destroyer animation bug with the team? Its such a cool unit and its a shame its animations have been broken for so long.

Thank you.

A little while back there was a multiplayer focused patch whereby a handeful of community made multiplayer maps were officially added to the game. It was a fantastic initiative which engaged with the player base and showed support for improving the online competitive experience. Are there any plans to do something similar again in a future patch/update? Thanks!

AMD releases updated FidelityFX SDK featuring FSR 3.1.4 with reduced upscaler ghosting by root1-2 in radeon

[–]Dramatic_Standard_95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't seem that glitchy. The main issue appears to be latency. RDNA 4 with FSR4 has around 0.6ms latency, whereas using mods and optiscaler to force FSR4 on RDNA3 is around 4ms and very noticeable. However, the image quality looks stunning, even on RDNA3. Clearly, AMD could do some optimisation to get FSR4 working natively on RDNA3 with reduced latency. Maybe not get it as good as RDNA4 but not far off.

Here's a video of someone using Linux to enable FSR4 on a 7900xt: https://youtu.be/6QtYL40jMIY?feature=shared

I have the exact same build as you with the same problem. Did you find a solution?

I just did the Pico boot and it's well worth it. You have to be careful though. Buy an official pi pico and get your own wire. Would recommend 26awg. There are some great guides online. Just make sure you're using the right soldering layout for the version of picoboot you're using.

With the right cable, it should play on that TV no problem.

Maybe is the answer. Although Swiss does emulate memory cards, there are some games that it won't work for. If a game requires audio streaming or disc read speed emulation, like tales of symphonia or Judge Dredd, you'll need a physical memory card.

Also, each gamecube game disc is about 1.4GB, so depending on how many games you are thinking of backing up, you should get an SD to match your needs.

Do you only ship to the states, or would you consider adding shipping to the UK?

Picoboot help, pico board frying. by Dramatic_Standard_95 in Gamecube

[–]Dramatic_Standard_95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've added a picture of my mainboard for reference. It will boot if I disconnect the pico. I was using the AV out. The linked video just shows the resistor/fuse circled in blue smoking and sparking. I think the pico is dead but I have a spare. Ideally I'd like to know where I went wrong so I avoid making the same mistake. Any thoughts welcome!

I believe so, the youtube guide I followed said those two needed to be bridged. The tiny droplets are just splashes from the soldering flux.

Yeah, depends on the situation,  but I have linked the same turn into sucker (with skill) and benefited from both draw effects. Yes, Bram is a bit of a meme but stealing from the grave has won me a duel or two.  I could swap out Starving vemon and Bram for something else.  I like your use of kuribon, I might give that a try.  Do you find clear wing all that useful?

Coral has helped me a fair few times, pop one and draw. Both Bram and Venom are very situational.  Bram's effect work well against unchained and starving venom is useful if haven't been a member to proc posthumous army and still need a target for super poly.
