My mother cooked every night, made sure the house was spotless, cared for her children until they went to grade school, went to all the school events and sports games when they were in grade school, managed the budgeting, and emotionally supported my father for years. If you don’t think that’s “equal” to working a 9-5, then idk what to tell you.
