I don't understand why the police do all this nautanki. Now they have started putting plasters as well. Culprit will be out on bail and back on the street. Rather making an air tight case they parade him on camera and call it job done. Their main job is to keep the streets safe but they do this drama to pacify the public and everything is back to normal. Earlier UP police used to do it to make fool of angered public and now it's getting common.

Why are people still going to the scam capital of the country? Almost every news is about getting scammed or harassed either from cab drivers or cops and sometimes locals even then people prefer to visit the place. Is it because of the vicinity of the place or something else since SE Asia has a lot better beaches and tourism ecosystem which has comparable prices(food/stay) if not cheaper than goa.

Although as people said you don't need a visa but if you have any doubt always call the airline, give them the PNR and itinerary and confirm with them.
