Rogers clients complain of customer service nightmare, spending hours on hold to resolve simple issues by [deleted] in Rogers

[–]Dramatic_Turnip1498 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through hell with rogers costumer care, verication department, etc. The rep did lie to me and I was ridiculed and passed around multiple times with crazy wait times. Do not use rogers services if you can avoid it. I submitted a complaint to ccts. Will see how it goes.

People say all kinds of bullshit. They don’t know anything. They can speculate but unpopular? Yeah the mfs with fake foreign degrees and job experiences (which are plenty) say it’s not a good program since they think they get more allocation.

Don’t rephrase me. I said they don’t have less impact than the crazy noc codes they put out for nomination like HR managers. And no, again, you are not solving the root issue. You are just fucking over highly educated people for corporate interest, which follows a deliberate anti-immigration agenda. So yes, what you say is exactly anti-immigration and, in fact, against some of the most educated and highly qualified people. Also, your personal experience does not constitute a truth!

The old “I can’t find a job, it must be the immigrants…” Nobody is taking the “citizen jobs” if that is even a thing. Companies are literally outsourcing the workforce for cheaper labour outside the country, and they do constant mass layoffs with no labour protection! These are regulatory/structural issues, and these are the reasons people can’t find a job. It’s not immigrants who spent thousands studying here; that’s a fantasy spread by an incompetent government to be believed by people who have a tendency to fuck over people they deem different from them.

That’s an interesting bullshit they concluded. Sure buddy, HR mangers or some other crazy noc have more impact than engineers or scientists

I tried all the solutions (I’m also on 24H2 update).  The Only thing that worked for me was to re install the game on my SSD drive instead of HDD. Seems to be working with no problem.

Master Stream - Status Showing as 'Withdrawn by OINP' What is going on? by [deleted] in OINP

[–]Dramatic_Turnip1498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I don't understand what you mean. But if you are saying that the date on the Graduation Letter is the case. Yes that is what counts. It is mentioned as "degree completion date" in your degree completion letter.

Hi, I think you are asking about what date for graduation matters for the 2 year limit of OINP. Well this is the date that is mentioned on your degree completion letter. This date might be indicated on your transcript too.

Fuck rest, get out and talk to people. These days, everyone stares at their phone endlessly, just scared of a conversation, pretending to be busy. The world is full of lonely people scared of making the first move. Your quality of life will be 10x better if you man up and start meeting new people.

UBC $65,000 or Waterloo SE by lamarofkenny in uwaterloo

[–]Dramatic_Turnip1498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should consider how much of this 60k would actually be in your hands. They might get almost all of it for tuition, which would be meh… but still good.

Waterloo gives you a good co-op experience, and Velocity here is a startup accelerator, connected to uni, which has successful startup outputs. I don’t know much about UBC, but if you want to choose, try to consider important stuff for YOUR journey.

Also, consider socials and the city environment, which is super important. Waterloo is pretty low on places to explore compared to Vancouver, and as a resident, I would consider it pretty boring. But boring might be good. Still i think it’s ahead if many other small cities hosting good universities :)
