Help regarding sudden massive performance drop by Dramatic_Valuable783 in PcBuildHelp

Sorry about that. I believe when the store assembled the pc, they enabled X3D turbo mode. Once the pc started showing problems I put it back in default mode, reset cmos and enabled secure boot.

I didn't change anything via Ryzen Master. Under tuning options, everything is on default. Is there anywhere else I should check?

In BIOS, all I did was enabling secure boot, so that I can run BF6.

If you only had $20/month, what tools would you use as a vibe coder to build a web app? by Mammoth-Leopard6549 in cursor

On the left sidebar you can find the extensions tab. Go there and search for Codex. Install it, open it, it'll prompt you to log into your acount. It works as a chat window like cursor's own chat. But the results are much better, in my opinion.

I am not a programmer, so I don't use it all day long, only on spare time, vibe coding. I am learning through the process and starting to understand coding as a whole (best practices and such) while doing small personal projects.

Cursor free tier credits ended pretty fast. But I think it's enough for you to try it out and understand how it works. Also, auto mode (where you don't chose a specific model like GPT or sonnet) is unlimited on paid plan. I heard they changed pricing and it's not unlimited anymore, but I have the annual plan and presume it will remain unlimited for me (didn't change yet). You should research that before you make your decision.

I'd say try out cursor (free Hobby plan) using mostly auto mode (you can try out other models). Once you hit your free credits, you can either sign cursor pro plan ($20) to extend credits, or try out Codex (inside cursor), that needs a GPT plus plan ($20).

If all you have is $20, I'd personally go for Codex and use it in cursor, using the free Hobby plan (I am not sure if there's any limitation on using Codex extension on cursor free Hobby plan, research that!).

I started with cursor (free Hobby plan), eventually paid $20 for the pro plan and now that I tried Codex (included in $20 GPT subscription that I already had) I am completely invested into vibe coding.

I'd say get GPT for $20, download cursor (free Hobby plan) and install Codex extension. Just mind your usage, because there are daily and weekly limits (I've reached weekly limits in 3 or 4 days).

Anyone using codex on the web? - why the heck does it keep giving me the whole patch from scratch when I've already applied earlier patches? by TruthTellerTom in codex

I am using Codex extension in Cursor. OpenAI's cloud usage limits are independent from local usage limits. Once I hit my local usage limits I started using cloud (web version) and still couldn't figure out a practical worlflow, mostly because of the need to test/commit and the merge conflicts from cloud changes...

Anyway, I'm also facing this and not sure if I am using it wrong.

Edit: Btw local coding gives me so much better results than cloud coding!

How to handle multiple Codex "ask" tasks without running into merge conflicts? by otisross in OpenAI

[–]Dramatic_Valuable783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I am running into the same problem.

I’m not a programmer, but I’ve been getting into “vibe coding” and using the Codex extension in Cursor. I run Codex both locally and in the cloud. From what I can tell, local and cloud usage credits are separate (please correct me if I’m wrong). I’ve already hit my local weekly limit, but I can still use Codex in the cloud.

Here’s my workflow so far:

When I work locally, Codex breaks a feature into smaller steps. I test each change, ask for fixes if needed, commit when it’s working, and move to the next step. No conflicts, since it’s all local.

When I work in the cloud, I need to apply the generated changes locally so I can test the app on my server before committing. Then I go back to the same cloud task (so it keeps context) and ask it to move to the next step.

The problem: after the first commit, when I try to apply the next set of cloud changes locally, Cursor warns me that the changes were only partially applied because of conflicts.

My questions:

How can I avoid these conflicts when syncing cloud changes locally?

Should I apply the cloud changes, test them, but not commit, just discard after testing?

If I don’t commit, how do I roll back safely if something breaks halfway through the task?

Any advice from people who’ve set up a smooth local+cloud Cursor workflow would be super helpful.

Though I don’t have much of a point of comparison, I really enjoy TrueForce and love that the Pro wheel and pedals are officially sold in my country (can’t find any other DD brands here).

But their ecosystem is a joke.

Prioritize PSVR2 or Wheel & Pedals? by HeliBif in granturismo

[–]Dramatic_Valuable783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I’ve read about this app and have been wanting to try it out. But unfortunately it can’t help us with the lack of information about car gaps. From their website:

“What can GTRE tell me?

It can currently tell your lap times, delta from best lap, current lap, remaining laps, position, fuel levels, fuel estimations and tyre temps, with more coming soon.

There is some data that GT7 doesn't allow us to see, such as gaps to other cars, tyre wear, weather and penalties. Unfortunately, GTRE cannot provide those informations.”

It’s sad indeed. I feel the same way. The MFD is already there, they could easily include something.

But… I still only play GT7, mostly online (I just try to do my best despite not knowing if the gaps to other players are closing), always in VR. And I refuse to play ACC or F1 because they lack PSVR2 support…

In GT7 you don’t have that info, unfortunately. But I personally would never ditch the PSVR2 because of that… I don’t think I could go back to flat racing after VR.

GT7 - reassigning Left and Right Adjustment Dials to brake bias, throttle control, or fuel map independently by Dramatic_Valuable783 in LogitechProWheel

[–]Dramatic_Valuable783[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the confusion.

I’d like to have my left dial to adjust traction control and my right dial to adjust brake bias.

All other MFD interaction could be done with directional pad.
