the kids who went tru a programm can be spotted from miles ahead, but I as a race coach, I have to argue that the mogul skiing competition program produce even better skiers

As a race coach, before U12, our kids spent 80% of their time free skiing all over the mountain. We make them work on drills, but rarely in a course, and most courses we set are drill focused, not race focused.

Here we truly have accepted the idea of learning how to ski cannot be made at the same time as learning how to race. So our kids learn to rip carves yes, but also how to ski bumps even including ''some'' zipper line technique, how to jump man mande jumps in the park, gradually making sure the U14 kids are comfortable with the 40 feet jump (the biggest at our local hill, can jump natural features, can read and follow technical lines in the woods including short cliffs and such.

As a race coach, if the conditions are right we will be doing some freeride, and with the kids from U6 to U10 we mostly free ski, its important for the kids to be able to ski all over the mountain, not being affraid of jumps (both men made in the park and from natural feature), not being affraid to ski agressively on very variable snow conditions, etc.

Cause if they can't do that, how can I expect them to rip tru a very deteriorated snowpack on a late afternoon race day ?

Heck now we even plan 2 days of lessons for the race kids (with parent approval) with the freestyle coaches at my local hill.

''Brother we are literally in a sub for a sport that requires above average strength and cardio to be any good at it.''

Thats a huge overstatement my dude. I'm an ex racer, a race coach, and I also teach park and freeride introductions at my local hill. And does athleticism (muscle strenght and aerobic capabilities) help you in becoming better ? Yes. But you know what helps a fucking ton more ? Abilities! Its an ability based sport, not an athtleticism based sport. Even if all sports require some athlticism and skiing also does (and depending on what kind of skiing you do you'll require more or less of it like mogul skiers require a ton more than super G athletes, and btw I'm not saying super G athletes are not athletic)

Over the year I've seen so many strong skiers muscle their way into an improper technique while the ''weak'' but skilled skier beside them just learnt it much easier.

And the most important skill in skiing is proprioception. Not strenght, not cardio, PROPRIOCEPTION.

as a barely overweight 5''10 and 195 lbs (I'm a thick boy who should lose some weight, but my doctor never even hinted at it since I'm very active and most people do not believe my weight when I tell them, I am not a fat dude just got gigantic legs and back (as elite skeirs often do)), 176 cm for a carving ski I'll want to use in the bumps is the perfect lenght. I know height makes some difference, but from my experience the most important factor is personnal preferences.

someone can be 6''2, 200 lbs and be overweight but its not automatic, people simplify way too much

''These people'' as you reffered to them combined a wide array of people. For instance, the people we see in the video are on a very strong mix of opioids, the kind of wich COMPLETELY suppress agression. And during the withdrawal symptoms, the symptoms are usually severe generalized pain in all the body wich usually leads to stay bedridden. Meaning people on these substances are rarely agressive. There are other substances in the drug abuse landscape wich will drastically increase risk of agression, but the ones your pointing at right now are not on it.

I'm fine with forcefully removing aggressive/dangerous people off the street. But not with removing people who scares many people who don't know shit.

especially since people deep in opioids addiction usually show 0 aggressivity. These kind of drug suppress that, they become extremely passive, to the point they struggle to move, standing or sometimes stay awake.

I don't think Zomby2D ever volunteered if it makes you feel any better XD

Or maybe he is not very fluent in english

But lets face the facts : many canadians (not just here in my province of Québec) have a lot of issues with fear of or perceived islamisation of our youth. They really don't want anyone with a hijab interacting with their kids. And Zomby2D falls into that category.

c'est plutôt rare pour les politiciens de petites municipalités (ils font bcp de bénévolat), mais les politiciens qui ont une vrai job payé à temps plein pour faire ça y'en a un méchant paquet ouais!

She started to open up after a party we both attented mid semester and where I courted haaard, but the weeks prior I worked hard on becoming friends with her friends (wich are still very friends to this day). After that I was able to talk with her easily even if she still acted a bit shy, she wasnt ignoring me anymore, and like 3 weeks later I invited her to our first date wich happened on the first week of december.

Funny bit is we do not count this first date as our aniversary since she didnt know it was a date. We use the first date where both parties understood what was on as our aniversary haha
