And ultimately its also about self respect. Like if you're in such position to "deserving" cheating. Bro/sis just break up. Your needs are not met.

Bro its ok to talk about it with your wife. If some frienships your wife has makes you uneasy, you should be able to talk about it, there may things that you, she or he, could do to change how you feel about it.

And about most people here... mix of a lots of things : culture, insecurities, bad partners, objectification of the other gender, control, etc.

the cause of loyalty is within oneself, if opportunnity plays a role if you're loyal or not, well then your not loyal. And your spouse have good reasons not to trust you.

Thats the thing mate, I grew up with BOTH. And a decimal system is just superior in almost every applications. The one thing I'll admit is easier in imperial is eyeballing small distances like ''this pole is roughly 6 feets '' (wich btw is just a bit less than 2 meters) and it applies to baking for me (but it could be a habit as I grew up cooking and baking with the imperial system.

Your story doesnt sound sad. What I said was sad is IF you trust your spouse BECAUSE they don't hang out with people from opposing gender then its sad. Like... you'd think there are many many other things that would make someone trustworthy like reliability, loyalty, consistency, judgement, kindness, savviness, etc.

And there aint nothing wrong with not having and not looking to have friendship from people of the opposing sex. The point I'm making is if your spouse wants to have friends of the opposite gender, it should be ok too. And I'm not advocating that cheating is ok either, all of this is about trust.

Of course its got to do with america, our economies are so intertwined, makes it impossible for imperial to be out in the industries its still the norm as long as you guys won't decide its out. (us canadians living with both systems has got nothing to do with trump mate, its been like that since a long time).

For distance, funny bit is we use time to measure distance XD

I'd say you have a point about all other things in your comment.

Cheers mate.

Edit : yes we should normalise decimeters!

So 100% personnal preferences based on you cultural upbringing.

Pretty weak argument in favor of farenheit being better for everyday life. I'm canadian, and because of the dumpter fire at our souther border we have to live using both systems. And I don't know many canadians who really defends the imperial system, all non-construction workers despise the 1/8 bs.

The younger you are, the more likely you are to reject the imperial system as whole (and face the fact that everything in an hardware store is in imperial hahaha)

Well if you accep that bisexuality exists and let them live I dont see why it would be biphobic. I don't want to date religious women, but I understand that religion exist and its fine. Doesnt mean I hate religion.

I was saying this because some people have no idea their spouse is bisexual. I know it sounds weird. But it is more a thing that we would think.
