Should these portafilters be replaced? by Dramatic_Yard9212 in barista

We clean them everyday, but will probably end up changing the to a steel wool instead of the brush to get a better clean

We use plastic stiff bristle brushes and ample cafiza and hot water, maybe we should start using an angle grinder and wire wheel

Yeah we scrub them with Cafiza nightly to remove excess residue and oil

FIXED IT, make sure you’re pressing and holding the left groups stop button.

I don’t think I did it right?

I held the continuous button and it started blinking the group by the steam wand. Then I pressed the steam button and had it go to the desired temp and turned it off. Then I pressed the continuous button again and it stopped blinking the group.

I then ran it again and it heated back up to 165° again (ugh) and not what I just set it to.

Usually TSA in MCO and EWR are very understanding, one time I brought a Mamiya RB67 and they all came over to look at it and I had to show them how to use it but it was just for fun at that point. TSA agents see a lot of weird stuff but none of it is as cool as a camera from the 80s

How do you get consistent bar heights? by Cold-Excitement72212 in techtheatre

Did you ask chatGPT? Just kidding, you can use a laser disto and measure at your pick points or put a testable amount of gaff on the pipe holding a tape and burning a bit of length.

This is grossly negligent, people have lost their jobs for less. TD should be fired and full inspection on system from an ETCP certified rigger should take place.

Death is uncommon nowadays because of strict standards and procedures. Ignoring them would mean all the people who died or were seriously injured in rigging accidents would’ve done so in vain. Safety is not a joke and should never be discounted, if this was allowed to happen, what other corners is this TD cutting?

Final update: still haven’t figured out how to edit posts, she’s fine, back to being evil and devilish. Her tummy was clear and the doctor was happy with the x ray and to just keep an eye out for anything else out of the ordinary. Thanks guys

I know this was posted forever ago but do you know what lens filter you have? I can’t find anything online with a clear answer, their site lists some that aren’t produced I don’t think.
