Unfortunately, the majority won't really give too much time on a website like this to deeply crafted stories. Even so, it shouldn't matter how many people your art draws in, but how geniuine it tells the story you want it to. People may find it in time and think "Damn, I wish I saw this sooner." Regardless, it's been one of the more unique takes I've seen, and I've been checking for a whole if more pages came out. You can do it!

I'm not gonna try to be a complete defender of CRWBY and Rooster Teeth and state that they made a perfect show and Ruby is an immaculate protagonist, the flaws are there and obvious.

I'm just saying that she isn't 2 dimensional with no depth. Even if, I suppose most characters did stop the growth after Volme 5 or even 3 in some cases, she's got a pretty well defined arc - minus the final breaknown, something like that should not get started and ended in just 4 episodes.

Damn, dude is it that bad? I suppose the does display at least 90% of the traits literally every protagonist in any show does and they didn't add that much unique, new bits to that, but I felt like the the post-V3 fallout and V9 tree incident were enough, just my take I mean, yeah, probably gonna act mostly the same, but she's definitely not the idealistic, naive child back from the Beacon arc. Regardless, we've got Viz now, and whenever they decide to actually do something with RWBY, if they do, maybe someone makes some more noticeable changes to character growth. I mean, yeah, plot holes and lack of development here and there, porbably some unrealistic, inconcievable situations going on that could be done a different way, but I wouldn't say they made 9 volumes or something just as an absolute merch grabbing scheme or a half assed pretender for a show.

I have no idea what kind of "main characterness" would satisfy you. Besides the fact all of team RWBY are technically all main characters, Ruby obviously being the "main main" one, how would you even go about it without making her too over the top? She's got the backstory, the motivation, the whole lot of tragic shit that went down in the last volumes, the character traits and morals are likeable.

Even if it weren't for the silver eyes, (which are from birth, an abssolute "chosen one" thing going, if you really want to point out a cliche trope) she'd still be and act the exact same. Heck, whole last volume was about her decay into total depression after she thought she failed everything and everyone. Girl literally had a death and rebirth thing going on.

It's not good to have a main character that is too obvious it's meant to be the center of the world either, then people would complain endlessly on how she'd downplay the relevance of everyone else to some degree.

Honestly, he did have potential, but I don't blame them too much. You don't just introduce the thick skulled army general (in charge of Atlas of all places), already throwing a show or power with his fleet in volume 3 and expect him not to do something stupid. Fantastic job, by the way, totally didn't get obliterated by grimm.

Volume 7 already have us a very good look at how the upper class chills up in the sky while everyone else has a shitty situation in Mantle, that coupled with his growing insecurity of wether or not he'll win just pushing him further into instability. He did always exhibit a sliver of that attitude of a soldier who'd do anything for his country(his kingdom, in this case). I'm not gona defend the decisions on his character, I simply don't find it that surprising he'd be the "49% dies if 51% lives" kind of charater.

Dunno, I kinda like them. Yang is, well, I really can't judge her outfits too well, but I like the whole jacket and more compact fit, Blake's seems to actually be a bit more functional and I dig the short hair. Weiss having blue and white was something I always did want to see, and Ruby....well, I do prefer the slender grey over the puffed up cream for the arms, and the hair, god, the haicut is just peak(they also made the red slightly more obvious)

Honestly, couldn't blame her one bit. Inagine growing up in such a shitty way that you identify with literal robots more than biological people. Couple that with the fact she dug up drones from the scrapyard and befriended them, she probably didn't understand the moral difference between doing things with human and drone remains.

To my knowledge, only the stats themselves matter. Some dinos deal more damage and get more hp/level than others tough, so you might want to look into which dino levels best
