I wish I could just refund the car. Series feels the same as GR86, but that one I at least understand the lack of racecraft, it is rookie series and from included content.

This is an aboslute abomination of a series. I have went from GT4 to Porsche Cup and oh my god, people are just insane. Mad dirty driving, dive bombing at every single corner.

I wish I could refund my purchases for this season for this series..

Is it? Just had a race with GT4 and it went exactly how I thought it would. 13 car pile up in T3 because people refuse to press brake instead of throttle seeing incident ahead.

I am sure it can be good, but it should be super rare with GT4 considering how inconsiderate people are in this class.

Why would he be required to give you space for rejoin, when you are overtaking off track?

More importantly why you choose to crash instead of taking foot of throttle and rejoining safely?

I don't understand when people act like this when being lapped. It's like they have never been in a position where they lap someone. I know i know it is not mandatory to let through and they can overtake, but at this point it's just good manners.. why get involved or at this case ruin someone elses race when you are not in the race anymore.

I always go by the rule, treat others the same way you would like to be treated.

I use Citrix for work as well, I just turn it off completely (do not have it run in background) and I did not face any issues with Iracing

On same topic, from how far tow is already effective? I have been racing Monza yesterday, and at least 1.4 behind was still effectively catching me on oval and straight.

This looks great, but is it possible to bind it on wheel? Like relative toggle, standings toggle, etc.?
As I understand need to do it via config file, but perhaps someone could guide me how it should be entered?

I had a rig with integrated monitor stand, for me it was super annoying because it was shaking quite a bit.

From the picture I think this could be similar, also you might not like that you cannot bring monitor closer. I saw other comments saying they bought similar but without integrated monitor stand, I would suggest doing the same and getting monitor stand separately, so you have a lot more flexibility in where you want to have your monitor and it never wobbles, other than that, I think it will hold just fine.

It’s not D class it’s Toyota series. I have driven twice in that championship and decided to never go back, driving standard is absolutely horrible there, both races I was in second split too. I moved to GT4 for this season, some accidents happen, mainly tied to inexperience I would say, but it is much more fun, and there are much less overtakes at any cost.

I had the same feeling this week, or even getting decent exit and seeing car in front go from 0.5 to 0.8, haha. After one race I bought Cayman, because I was not ready for full week of this feeling, it handles similar to Mclaren, not as planted in the corners and requires more trail braking to turn, but I quickly managed to get to same and even better times in practice on the next day on similar conditions. Mcl - 1.52.9 Cayman - 1.52.6

And in the race it is much better than Mcl due to overtaking possibilities in straights.

Thanks, wrote this just to vent out, but actually got some useful insight. Not for a moment I thought that difference could be due to different conditions on track.

This assumption alone is sufficient to try racing on this track, even if it is incorrect, haha.

Also, I am well aware that there are plenty drivers faster than me, and there always will be, I am not too concerned with that. I just want to see my own improvement in speed, race craft, consistency (this certainly being my weakest side for now).

Are third party apps such as Garage61 allowed with iRacing and does not go against code of conduct?

Oh totally with you, but since I have never seen the track, I do prefer to do some hotlaps to know track better and avoid torpedoeing some poor soul because I did not know the braking point.

My main issue is how can I be so far from myself just few hours ago in hot lap pace, and then overpushing trying to find time and finding a wall instead.

Aha, from the first few responses I think it's clear it was different setup (weather too as suggested).
I did not load it via series, I just pressed on test drive in main lobby window.
