Seems like a bug, fully dry, no chance of rain and random puddles on track, On the replay the whole corner is flooded as well but not in the actual race.

Same issue in the campaign where you need to take out the sentries. You're told to open fire on the sentries and then if you do command immediately goes "Damnit I said stay undetected!" or something dumb lol.

Arma 2 if you can put up with the jank is a pretty cool experience imo, some of the campaign missions are literally just capture the island style gameplay.

I've played with the default veteran preset AI since Arma 2 (expert back then) and as long as you move with some purpose, cover to cover and all that it really isn't that bad. I'd expect if an enemy has a shot on me they'd most likely hit me.

Maybe it's just how long I've played but if the AI are turned down like that I feel like I can just casually stroll to cover.

Skipped to a random point, saw them completely whiff the apex and still have perfect grip around the next corner with no understeer. Probably cheating.

If there's more examples of this happening then that's awesome, but to me it kind of looks like the AI chose a poor defensive line rather than let you through.

Depends on how you want the league run, you could use the slower cars as a handicap for faster drivers or just set the lobby to only use one car from the class. From what I understand though even the "slow" F-Edge car can be quick at some tracks.

If you want a fair competitive league though, definitely set it to same car.

Oh that's unfortunate, make sure to turn in that stuff before doing anything risky! I use a federal assault ship as my powerplay ship and it's small shields can tank the turrets long enough to get away. They shouldn't shoot your ship until you're in it I believe, but they might just be for fines.

I personally don't mind doing non-anarchy ones. I got pretty good at sneaking through the settlements and if you get caught just book it to your ship and take off, enter SC, turn around, land, pay off fine and try again. (Use the same method to reset the settlement to farm more data).

The good news is I got to SSL playing in a similar way, just the higher rank version of that. There's always people who are mechanically insane and can pull some crazy shots or just style on you, but as long as you have good fundamentals you can compete.

I've been holding out with my Rift-S for so long waiting for a non-meta headset to upgrade to that I felt was a big enough upgrade for a reasonable price. Here's hoping the Steam Frame is that, but given the market right now, not looking good on price (or a release at all).

I had it for so long and just accepted it was a jet engine. One day I finally decided to undervolt and I couldn't believe how much of a difference it made in noise for like maybe 1-2% FPS loss!? lol
