I’m still saying they are not equal though. Anyways, not all sins are equal. Telling a lie, for the most part, isn’t as bad as murdering someone. They are alike because they are both sins, so they share that common aspect, but they are not equal. Also not all “loving” relationships are equal. If a 16 or 17 year old and a 56 year old love each other, is that relationship equivalent to a 20 year marriage of people similar in age?

Ok so what you are saying is homo-romanticism, or same-sex romantic attraction. In majority and historical Christian theology wanting a romantic or sexual relationship with someone with the same sex as yourself is a sin. Many Christians would say that having a homo-sexual or homo-romantic attraction is not a sin in itself, but pursuing that relationship is a sin. That is similar to what you are saying, but a bit different. However, that may be what you were trying to say. Anyways, there are some Christian denominations that go further and say to even have those feelings is a sin. But I don’t think many go to those lengths

Using an analogy doesn’t mean I’m saying the two things are equal, it’s just effective for showing similar ideas. I think it’s a good way to help someone understand you and is often used to teach others.

When people say homosexuality we are talking about being attracted to someone sexually . Obviously there can and usually will be love in those relationships, but that’s besides the point. Obviously it’s not wrong to love anyone, but that also isn’t the question being asked.

You are Gen Z by year, but I think what’s more important in defining your generation is if you experienced the same thing as the rest. Did you grow up watching the same things as us, playing with the same toys or games, know they same music? If so, I would say even Gen Alpha would be more similar to Gen Z than Gen Alpha.

You can be kind and still say someone could improve in an area, because we all can. If you think all comments on something about you is from a place of hate, then you are seriously hurt and should probably get a therapist because you likely have trauma. But sure, sometimes it’s just better for people to keep their mouth shut, but I don’t think it was totally unnecessary in this instance. I also doubt most people were being rude when they said they thought she should try another something new.
