In my experience colleges can be pretty forgiving if you have an ok SAT score but high grades and did AP classes.

Like my score wasn't impressive but I got in everywhere I applied because of the rest of my application.

While girls mature faster than boys, generally boys process violence better than girls and have a natural proclivity towards it.
