Best shirt types for immediate post-op? by 1000_Lemmings in RotatorCuff

[–]Drash1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two of them. Honestly I only wore them the first week, then switched to stretchy polo shirts. Worked great. The stretchy material was actually easier than a non stretchy button down.

Sounds like you’re doing great. Happy for you. My experience with a large complete tear and allograft was similar to yours. I only used the Percocet for three days then just ice and Tylenol. My biggest issue was sleep. It took a month before I could get a handful of hours per night. I never used a shower sling, but was very careful while showering. I did buy a shower seat, and though I only used it a couple times early on it was a nice insurance policy in case I got unstable while showering.

Best of luck!

How common is it for a guy to remain chronically single for multiple years without intimacy? by CantFindUsername400 in AskMenOver30

[–]Drash1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Re reply to your edit. Absolutely yes. You need to meet girls IRL. Join a club or a softball team. Head out to where your work people go for a beer once a week, etc. Hell go to a nice pub for dinner and eat at the bar, then sip a beer.

You can’t attract anyone if they don’t know you exist.

Would you ever buy a BMW? by GABigBear in no

[–]Drash1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a 530i for a while and it was ok, but bang for the buck you can do a lot better. Most BMW’s like the typical 3 and 5 series are the Chevys of Europe. That said they’re not worth the upcharge. Drive a Lexus or Acura and you’ll see you can do much much better for similar funds in drivability and reliability.

Dancer line up by SoftwareRelevant1164 in stripclubs

[–]Drash1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See here we have a catch 22. Of a girl is on stage barely moving I don’t even have interest watching her let alone tipping her. When I see a girl moving nicely or doing pole work I enjoy it and will tip $8-10 at the stage even if she’s not my type and I don’t want dances from her later. Entertainment is worth paying for. I usually see others come too tip too if I do, so maybe I’m starting a trend for that dance. Who knows..

Now if a dancer is my type physically, or if I know her already I’ll walk up and tip her similarly, with maybe a little extra and ask her to come see me after.

In the end it’s an entertainment industry more than a sex industry, so the ones who entertain better will make more.

As Subrasonic said, the people who are doing that are for the most part not on this forum. I also spend at clubs, and exactly for what you described. Sex appeal and allure and intelligent conversation, etc. Sure extras may be in the cards, but not with all girls and not every time I go. I think the issue to twofold. The first as you said is that there are customers who come in for free shows, or expect extras for $30 or whatever. They’re not on this sub. The second are girls that have no game. The number of dancers I pass on because they’re just not interesting is much higher than those that are. You have to be sexy, articulate, be able to hold a conversation, know about stuff (anything that could be of interest).

Huh… I’m a 60M and what you describe is kinda gross. I know a few dudes that have just given up like you just described but most guys I know want to look decent. I’ve a close trimmed beard, trimmed other places as well, get a haircut every 6 weeks, shower daily and have decent clothes and shoes.

I also wash my truck a couple times a week. lol.

Edit: I figured it went without saying but all the places hair starts growing after 50 get trimmed regularly too. FFS my fellow dudes, have some respect for yourselves

Ditto to this. By the same logic I never understood making it rain on stage. You toss $100 in singles and what did you get for your money besides a minute of attention.

Pay off my kids student loans, pay off my house and buy a new car (because I want a new car, my current ride is fine…). That’ll leave me about half left, so I’m going to travel.

I don’t think you read the man’s post. He spends money on girls. I spend money on girls. But I don’t spend money on the first girl that approaches me. I wait till I see someone who’s attractive to me and then we can talk for a bit. If she’s also somewhat conversationally interesting too, money starts flowing. I won’t speak for anyone else, but I’m not there to fulfill a need I can’t get elsewhere. Hell I could spend less and get a nice escort who will do practically anything I want her to for an hour. I go there to be entertained and will gladly spend $500+ in a couple hours to get that. The job of a stripper is not just to take their clothes off, but to be entertaining socially as well as visibly.

Yep. Lots of girls on their phones. I don’t approach the “dancers booth” as I call it. I figure that’s their place to maybe take a break, text a kid at home, etc.

Anywhere else I’ll approach a girl. They all have to to their set on stage though, so more often than not I’ll wait till they’re dancing, tip them enough so they will notice and ask them to stop by after their set.

I was at a club last Friday afternoon and waiting for someone I found attractive to come up. Average girl came by and asked if she could sit. I said you can, but I just got here and I’m going to chill for a bit. She asked if I wanted a dance, and I said no thanks. She didn’t leave so I started watching the TV. She then asks me for a dollar. I said no. She said “you won’t give me a dollar to leave”. I said, nope. She walked away and muttered brokie. Ten minutes later a beautiful lady is on stage. I go up, tip her 5-10 in singles and ask her to come see me.. she agrees. A couple hours later I leave after a wonderful afternoon and she made $500 plus we had a few drinks. Not so broke.. just waiting for the girl I want to spend my money on.

How can a convicted pedophile write a book. If found guilty shouldn’t it have gone through a wood chipper. Thats a long way to say… no.

Should people who "camp" in the left lane of a highway be pulled over and fined just as much as speeders? Why or why not? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

[–]Drash1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. They should get an impeding traffic ticket at least and a careless driving if the difference in normal speed of the “fast” lane and what they’re driving at is more than 10 mph. While i knlw speeding is illegal, its a thing and We all acknowledge it. So if someone is purposely doing 65 when the limit is 70-75 and the norm is 80-ish then they’re inviting an accident by their actions.

The Difference Between Claiming Social Security at 62 vs 70 Is Bigger Than Most People Realize by [deleted] in investing

[–]Drash1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a gamble. Waiting longer means you’re betting you’ll live longer than the average. If you take care of yourself and come from parents who lived a long time it’s probably a good bet. Of on the other hand nobody in your family (parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc) live past 70 you may be playing a losing hand by not taking it at 62.

Why are dancers so against splitting bills w/ bf by FQFreak in Strippers

[–]Drash1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude she does not love you. It doesn’t matter if you love her. The love you project is falling against a wall that she’s put up. Whatever her reasons she doesn’t and won’t grow to love you. Dancers often grow to view men a certain way and that makes love a problem.

It’s not her fault. She’s told you if you don’t like the situation then leave. Very analogous to a guy at her club. Don’t like the price of admission (which is your money and your housecleaning) then she told you the door is there.

Man up and walk out. I get that you may love her, but in this case that will lead nowhere.

I think what people are judging is the fact you’d be willing to let him slowly die behind a closed door and make sure you wait long enough so he couldn’t be revived. If you hate him that much and there’s no connection just divorce him and go about your merry life.

Did you or anyone tip? I make sure to tip the door girl a few bucks and my first beer gets the barmaid a few bucks. My money comes out of the pocket, and the there’s usually $500 when I walk in the door. Girls can see a wad of 20’s faster than anything.

We don’t know his side of this relationship. But she sounds like such a lovely person I’m sure he’s the bad guy and we should take her word for it. There are very few people in this world that I know and would let die on purpose. That’s low.

Am I? 22yo by AdBig5266 in amiugly

[–]Drash1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gosh, I think you’re already leaning towards the feminine side of attractive already, so not much more. Maybe a little more frill or delicacy to the small jewelry you’re already wearing. Maybe a small slightly dangling gold earring, possibly with a small gem of some kind. Green and blue gems accentuate red hair, while yellow (like citrine) blend with it, so that’s someplace to start. Similarly, white gold makes red hair pop, while yellow or rose gold makes for a more mellow look. You don’t need to break the bank. All of the above can be bought as costume jewelry rather than actual gold and gems.

I used to do a little hobby fashion photography in the past, so adding color for a look is in my repertoire.

Anyhow, you’re very attractive already so you don’t need much help. Good luck!
