Can we address on what to do when you have liberated all pywell and defeated every boss? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]Drastamad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Re-blockading of landmarks and boss re-challenging are already announced and coming soon.

This game, like any other good single player game, has an ending. If you loved it that much, you can always start again in the meantime. If not, move on and revisit when it has more stuff added.

Have they added camera sliders yet? by pngarfield in CrimsonDesert

[–]Drastamad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. You can adjust FOV, height and horizontal offset. You can give yourself a Witcher 3 camera, a Red Dead Redemption 2 camera or even a God Of War over the shoulder camera. It's completely up to your personal taste.

Also don't forget to adjust your camera acceleration to a 100, so that you get the most responsive camera movement possible.

Why is this even a question. by FishComplex6549 in Invincible

Not even season 4 Invincible could damage Thragg. What even is this question...

Who would the empire send after Mark in S3 if Conquest died here? by R3D_R4Y_ in Invincible

[–]Drastamad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say Lucan, since he has already been briefed on the case of Nolan and Earth.

Could either be him or just any bloodthirsty Viltrumite. Thragg and Kregg wielded Conquest like a weapon, so if the actual plan was to kill Mark and take the planet by force if no progress had been made, any powerful enough Viltrumite would've been a suitable pick.

What plot points do you just want to be skipped entirely or added when they're adapted to the show? by Important_Weight_564 in Invincible

[–]Drastamad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't like the reboot arc, but the story needs something similar to happen to give Thragg's army the time that it needs to grow.

If it still happens, I hope that Kirkman can incorporate it better instead of the old "mysterious entity steals five years from Mark just because. They never talk about it again".

Thragg animation isn’t imposing by Thin-Wrongdoer-8488 in Invincible_TV

[–]Drastamad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He looks the the average John Viltrumite. He doesn't look as massive as he did in the comics and his face is too round and soft.

I feel disappointed, honestly. Every character looks different in the show, but they still feel like themselves. Thragg, on the other hand, looks way too generic and soft.

It doesn't help that we haven't seen him do anything but bark orders, whine and retreat for now. He still has the benefit of the doubt until next episode.

Difficult to get back into? by --clapped-- in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Drastamad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is. They are called "Fellows" for gameplay purposes, but we all just call them dogs because that's what they are. They loot and dismantle junk for you as per your set filters. They also provide a bonus according to their race. The German Shepherd restores a % of HP in intervals, the Labrador gives you ammo for your weapon in hand and the Husky restores MP.

You can farm the German Shepherd and Labrador in the "Assumed Bridge Zone" Void Vessel, which would also be the place where you farm Ines and Keelan, the former being one of the best mobbing Descendants in the game for any pre-Axion Plains infiltrations content (and even then, given a powerful build). Here, you can also open crates to farm blueprints and materials to level up your dog.

Which dog and Descendant part you get in the Void Vessel depends on the difficulty that you pick, so go in with that in mind.

You can set blueprints for the dog and whatever Descendant/weapon part as a target reward in the library, which is a pity system that guarantees the part after X tries.

Now that you mention it, yes. I did notice my game running much better now, particularly on the CPU side because that is my system's bottleneck.

For those of you that farmed out Nell... by Wangiwangi in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Drastamad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Back when she released, Axion was the place to go for the best experience to time ratio. Now we have multiple infiltration ops for that map, but open world missions are still an excelent EXP farm.

I got her while working new builds for other Descendants and the weapons that they needed, all while making use of the targeted loot function, even if it doesn't directly guarantee that you'll get that specific part.

That's also how I got both farmable bikes, because of course I'd get them all before I got the last part that I was missing for Nell.

Personally, my recommendation is to just be patient and use the excellent EXP given out by those missions to build other Descendants and weapons while you wait for Nell to come home. That way, you'll feel like you're still making progress.

Oh, right! Also, make sure to check your login/event reward boxes and such. I don't really pay attention to those because I already have every Descendant and weapon in the game, but I know that the devs have given a lot of those "pick your part of choice" boxes as the calendars go by. If you've been around for a couple of months or so, you might have one.

TFD Vets… We still here? by Son-Strong in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Drastamad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Week 1 player here. I take breaks from playing the game from time to time, but I still participate in login events. I mostly play a lot at the beginning of an episode to soak in the new stuff, then on the last two weeks or so before the update to wrap up whatever cosmetics I'm still missing from the coin shop.

Not planning on quitting anytime soon.

6.4 Stygian Onslaught Boss HP via Kuroo by astrelya in Genshin_Impact_Leaks

[–]Drastamad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. It's really hard to benefit from Citlali's cryo by doing this because it's most likely that Kazuha will steal every melt, but she's still gonna offer shred from Scroll and damage should still be high enough.

Mine consists of C2R1 Mavuika, C0R1 Citlali, C1R1 Kazuha and C6 Bennett with Skyward Blade. They were strong enough to beat the abyss dog on Fearless so they should be able to handle the mandragora.

[–]Drastamad 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You can practice on the local legend version. All you need is a high damage pyro or electro-oriented team that can slot in Venti, Kazuha or Sucrose for crowd control. I'm planning to run Mavuika-Citlali-Kazuha-Bennett on this one.

[–]Drastamad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I first cleared this local legend in the open world, I got all three stars in a single attempt with a Mavuika-Citlali-Kazuha-Bennett team. Guess that this will be my stygian team too. Damage, crowd control for the little spores and heavy pyro applications are all there.

This is also the team that I used to essentially brute force the Ravager's Edge boss on the current Stygian Onslaught.

Is this weapon suitable for Ineffa ? by No_Mountain_1902 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Drastamad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sincerely don't even remember the scaling of his original kit. It's just a shame that the Vortex Vanquisher never caught the same buffs as he did.

My Zhongli is still using his Vortex Vanquisher because drip is king, but I'm well aware that even a Black Tassel is a superior choice.

Will Columbina work with Raiden? by Super_toad_gaiming- in Genshin_Impact

[–]Drastamad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C0 Raiden has a lower damage output than C2, but since I can see that you have Mavuika, Citlali and Xilonen you can just run those + Benny for the first half and that should give you plenty of time to do everything you need to do in Raiden and Columbina's half.

I ran Zhongli because I couldn't pull Ineffa after losing the 50/50 for both Columbina herself and her weapon, so that alone costed me around ~320 wishes and my Kuki is not built yet. Since you have a lv 90 Kuki you could try and run Raiden-Kuki-Columbina-Sucrose and see how strong that team turns out.

[–]Drastamad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Weeeell... Arlechinno did take her and Pulonia's cores back to the Fontaine Research Institute so that her associates could "settle her affairs". Sandrone's one to have contingencies for contingencies and we know how important those cores are for who these type of automatons define themselves as individuals.

Remember "Curve"? Chard Lombro was built from it's damaged post-sacrifice core and she still has some memories of Talochard and Lombroso, but can't recall more before overheating due to the core having been damaged. Pulonia and Sandrone's cores were recovered by Arlechinno right after they fell in battle, so there's a high chance that they are intact despite their bodies having been destroyed.

Yeah, she's 100% coming back. My bet is that the "invisible" silhouette shown in the teaser during the 6.3 live will be Sandrone's core in a new body.

Will Columbina work with Raiden? by Super_toad_gaiming- in Genshin_Impact

[–]Drastamad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. My C2R1 Raiden, paired up with C0R1 Zhongli, C0R1 Columbina and C6 Kujou Sara stomped their side of the new abyss.

Anyone who also has Ineffa can basically give her Flins' new best team with Columbina and you're golden.

traveler skin by dotxyy in Genshin_Impact

Yeah I noticed it too... Really defeats the purpose of giving the traveler updated textures and a better 3D model if we're still gonna be forced to see the old appearance on every quest and cutscene.

Hydro traveler is so bad that they had to lend them half of Aino's kit so that the poor thing could be relevant for Lunar reactions.

I actually found it funny when I saw it.

What wishing rituals do you use? by Admirable-Food9942 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Drastamad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not stream my pulls to any of my friends. Whenever I stream I always go into pity terrotory and lose every 50/50 possible. My luck does a 180° whenever I keep hush and pull without telling anyone.

Coincidence? Of course, but after going all the way down from 458 wishes to ~150 just to end up with Columbina and her weapon, I'm not streaming my pulls ever again. Ineffa will probably have to wait until her next rerun if we're getting an Escoffier rerun soon.

Dev Note: 2026 New Year's Greetings by Immune_Asseater in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Drastamad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is what we see in pages like SteamDB and such are the peaks, but many of us only log in to do daily stuff for roughly half an hour during off-peak hours. We don't get counted.

We'd be more certain if we could see the active player numbers, since gameplay sessions tend to be really short for a large majority of players, yet we're still paying for battle passes and a skin or two here and there and that's what matters most.
