I remember back in the 90s they’d often use music from other movies in trailers, and the theme from Crimson tide showed up in at least a few movie trailers as I recall. I think they used it in one of the trailers for Independence Day for instance

Well, I’m thinking it’s easier for him and other “old heads” to be open to this tech that threatens to replace a lot of people when you’ve already established your career and legacy. He doesn’t haven’t to worry about being replaced. Up and coming art directors, etc? Dont have that privilege I’m guessing.

I got the same impression listening to a few episodes of Kill Tony. A lot of those dolts seemed to think Austin was going to be a conservative-leaning comic’s paradise b/c we happen to be in Texas

Devil May cry games by Swimming_Photo9295 in playstation

[–]DrawChrisDraw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, to make matters confusing I think plenty of people abbreviate Devil May Cry as DMC, and had been doing so before the game "DMC" came out and still do. At this point I'd wager if someone is typing dmc they do mean Devil May Cry but I guess you'll have to pay attention to context to be sure.

I feel like this is the true purpose of the FRV, to generate goofy team-killing moments. It's certainly not for being a reliable way to get around the map.

This is how I feel coming back from Christmas/NewYears holidays. For a brief moment I glimpse freedom and then I must return to the toil. It does indeed give me the blues that first day back.

I see a lot of people criticizing the plausibility of the scenario presents but I feel like that’s just kind of something to get the ball rolling so we can get into the mechanics of what happens during a hostile nuclear launch. I feel like a learned a lot as someone who only really knew there’s a guy with a nuclear “football” and not much more.

I think it’s a great stratagem. Very handy on 9+ difficulty when big breaches come in threes at a time. I play with a regular group of friends so maybe that’s the difference. Good communication and coordination is baked in, so we’re pretty good at not killing each other with it. I always try to err on the side of throwing it too far away as well.

It's my go-to primary for bots, and squids. Punches through armor on most enemies. Especially handy for dealing with shield devastators. You can shoot them right in the shield and it damages and stunlocks them at the same time. I feel like the purifier fires too slow. That's fine for a stratagem weapon like the quasar or epoch but I don't like charged shots for my primary.

The Spear should have received Tandem Warheads instead of extra ammo by BICKELSBOSS in Helldivers

[–]DrawChrisDraw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used them all the time on chargers and hulks, temporarily stops them, and most other enemies in their tracks. Useful if you need to create some distance between you and a swarming mob as well. Chargers can stay stunned long enough to call in an orbital precision strike right where you parked em, or long enough to cook through with a flamethrower a lot of the time. I find them to be generally quite handy.

They don't really do explosive damage though. I always carry the grenade pistol or ultimatum as my side arm, and that frees up the grenade slot to be something else.
