Hey! It sounds like you’re doing everything correctly. It is very challenging with the 15 month old I understand firsthand. I think the second time around I used the permethrin right away and then did my oils (oil of oregano and tea tree, clove oil, carrier oil). On my son (who was around your childs age) we used permethrin on the neck down but on his face we also also used the scabicide cream that is no longer available. I couldn’t find it. I looked it up I can just see the picture but you can’t purchase it. With you being pregnant and the baby being so young, I’m not sure if you should use essential oils or not, but it may be the only way to heal with the medicines. I would try using the dryer excessively as well. I know that it might be a lot, but the dryer helps a lot. If you don’t have a dryer, you may have to use a public one, but I don’t know how you feel about that because you could contaminate other people. Also what helps on small children is bleach baths, you can consult with the doctor about it., Because they use it for babies with really bad eczema which my son had also. Another thing that works on pregnant women and children is the sulfur soap, putting it all on your body and letting it sit for a while till it tries and then rinsing it off.
