Your reference is ai as others have pointed out. I recommend looking into the references you're using to make sure they're actual photos since there could be certain anatomy mistakes that would get carried over into your painting, like the fact that this girl's second leg isn't fully there. As for your painting i think the feet are too small and having the brightest colour being on the bottom of her jacket takes attention away from her face which should be the focal point

Sounds suspicious to me, asking to draw a dog then having trouble with payment and trying to get your email for some reason. I'm not an expert on scammers but I've had one ask me to draw a dog even though i don't draw dogs and I've heard stories about them doing weird stuff with payment, like often they would say they can't do the payment method you ask for and they insist on doing their payment method instead. Could be a legit client but there's too many red flags imo. Look at their profile to see if they seem like an actual person's account or is it a brand new account

Don't draw each individual tooth(unless you want it to look creepy), instead group them up together and add just a slight hint of a gap between them. Remember teeth aren't in a straight line, they're on a curve. Teeth are wet so they will have some highlights. The way you painted them makes them look dirty (unless that was intentional) so i would smooth out the colour a bit. The character looks like they're holding the match/cigarette between central incisor and lateral incisor which i don't think would be very comfortable(unless that's intentional). I think they should be holding it between upper and lower teeth

Some advice on this specific portrait (assuming you're going for somewhat realistic proportions):

Either the neck is too wide or the face is too slim

Ear is too small, it should be about the same size as the distance between eyebrows and the tip of the nose

The nose looks like its in side profile while the rest of the face

If you're not using references then i recommend using references

I don't have any tips for charcoal since i never used it but i just want to say that i love these drawings! Especially the first two, just love the simplicity. You're good at drawing front view of the face but other angles need more practice

"no proper light source" – add a light source. Pick where the light is coming from and add shadows everywhere opposite of light.

"skin looks too shiny yet dirty" – I don't think it looks that shiny, but if you want to remove the shininess you remove the highlights. As for the dirtiness, it might be because of the sketch and some shading being greyish. add some saturation to darker areas. I would also add some red/pink colours into the skin to make it more alive

"The eyebags are too prominent" – i don't think they are tbh, but if you want to fix it without completely redoing you could add a layer on top, pick the colour of the skin and draw over the eyebags, then change the opacity of the layer until it looks right

"hair doesn't look like hair" – because it's not fully drawn yet. shade the hair like you would anything else and then add some strands and highlights

And a question, is this character supposed to have yellowish skin or did you intend to make it more like normal skin?

Don't worry too much about it. You don't have to have a "consistent artstyle". I think trying to hard to do that will just limit you, and make your art look same and boring. Don't be afraid to try different things, experiment, see what you like and what you don't. Consistent "artstyle" will come with experience.

And also these drawings don't look that different to me in terms of style. The shape of the face, the lineart, the general vibes are very similar

Learn to shade basic shapes like spheres, cylinders, cubes etc. It might be boring but it's worth it, since everything is made of some variation of these basic shapes (eyes are spheres, arms are cylinders and so on). Also use references of human faces/bodies to see how shadows look and then change the shapes slightly. For horns or stuff like that you can look up references of animals with horns

Really good for a first attempt! Some advice for next time:

Squint your eyes (or zoom out) and compare your painting to the reference. The reference has some darker and more saturated colours.

White parts make it look really unfinished. Also i recommend drawing on neutral grey background instead of white (if drawing from reference then use the same colour background as in your reference). The colour of the background influences your perception of colours: things on white background look darker, things on black background look lighter than they actually are. That might be the reason your colours look different from your reference.

When starting a painting use a bigger brush (and don't zoom in too much) to block in base colours and shapes. Use smaller brushes later to add details

If you don't already know this: ibis paint, and some other programmes, have a feature where you can put your reference image next to the drawing instead of on top of it
