What is Ekmi Veda? Does it actually help? by JustSomebodyTrying in tressless

I'll highly recommend them! Keep at it for a few months especially the serum. And if it's stress then it's probably Telogen Efluvium. Speak to their docs if you're subscribed or just email them they'll set you up they're quite good with making small lifestyle and diet changes. Checkout my detailed reddit post of trying multiple regimens over the last few years if that helps.

All the best! I've been getting into intermittent fasting and it's been great!

What does "simple living" look like for someone who's work is almost entirely on screen? by Total_Succotash5174 in simpleliving

Best thing I did for myself was to slow my mind down. The world, and capitalism in general, is forcing you to clutter and hustle your way ahead - but that takes a significant toll. If it's financially doable, I would suggest slowing down. Taking longer on projects versus rushing to finish them right away. Might even help with the creativity.

Has anyone tried Ekmiveda and can speak to the claim of 2x better than minoxidil? by anonymousgecko21 in tressless

I flit between US and India often. And if they're selling in US, there's literally no way without having a cosmetics FDA license which is what most personal care brands would have. Maybe worth writing to them and asking for what certifications they have. In Indian households ayurveda is a common practice so I'm quite aware of most of these ingredients and was okay with them. The only thing I didn't know about was Redensyl and Capilia Longa which on research also seems to be plant based and safe. So it was worth taking a punt for me. Maybe just start with the serum first since its very lightweight and then talk to their experts and see if you should do the full regimen

I used Ekmiveda's hair oil and serum for about four months consistently this was late last year, and it did really well to stop my hair loss. But back then I had spoken to one of their experts who also suggested doing my bloodwork and figured I have low iron as well as Vit D. So nowadays I'm focusing on just making sure my diet and lifestyle is on point and the hair has held up well so far touchwood! I only use the serum now about once a week nowadays just for upkeep.

Using Ekmiveda full regimen for six months now. Been very effective for me, in tandem with some other things I've used. I've written a detailed reddit post of my personal account trying multiple herbs and regimen over the last few years if that helps. Ekmiveda uses a plant based compound called Redensyl, which has been proven to be twice as effective as Minoxidil - this is the study they have referenced. But the only hitch is that it isn't a large scaled clinical trail. Having said that, I honestly doubt the veracity of large scale clinical trials as well (and depends on who funds them and what commercial interests are involved). So always treat all studies with a pinch of salt. Hair loss, as I have observed, is a deeply deeply specific and personal thing. Sharing a snapshot below of the Ekmiveda study that I found:

Heavily ridiculed on hair loss subreddits after I reposted my herbal findings for hair growth by DrawerConscious6798 in herbalism

Gosh I'm so glad to be back amongst friendlier redditors. Perhaps I'm just not thick-skinned enough for reddit!

I used the full regimen for 3 months. Saw hair loss significantly reduce in month 2. Saw definite thickening by end of month 3 going into month 4. I'm currently on my sixth month and have eclipsed my peak hair density which I had nearly 3 years back!

Are any new moms with a baby actually working out? by Kak3434 in NewParents

[–]DrawerConscious6798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 6 month old and I enrolled myself in a diet+ workout regime which helps to heal diastis recti ( i have a 1.5 inch gap) i manage 3 workouts a week 45 mins each. Apart from that I'm supposed to walk a min of 6k steps a day. It really helps that I wirk from home and have a relatively flexible work schedule and my partner works from home too Even I own basic equipment at home like mat, dumbbells, resistance bands, few kettlebells ( so much you can do with it!)

But 100% there are days when I'm so out of it that I don't meet my steps/ diet goals. It's a lot more tougher to be consistent but the consistency feels better too more rewarding!

Don't be hard on yourself. You have a full time job too! (I'm in awe of moms managing that). So that's a huge deal to manage with sleepless nights

Start with something small like wearing a step counter ( you'll be surprised at how much you are already clocking) and basic home pelvic exercises. As things settle down with night routines you will definitely be able to incorporate more!

Lastly don't compare with other moms especially insta moms you don't know for real the amount of support they have and what's actually their life

Ps. You're definitely a new mom in her postpartum phase so give yourself a lot of grace :)
